Ranma 1/2 Summary of a Chinese Ghost Story

In a world of Ancient China were beliefs in the supernatural is still very
strong. Where ghost act very much like living people till they finally
reveal their true powers. Such relationships could often leave to such
tragic deaths. 

The story of "A Chinese Ghost Story" revolves around the concept that love
can transcend beyond the grave.  

Ranma/Ranko is a noble, traveling scholar, out to seek a name for
himself/herself. During the course of his/her journey across China he
happens to come upon an inn right in the middle of a storm. Unbeknownst to
our hero, his journey on the road could be the start of a new journey. A
journey, as the story unfolds, would lead him into danger, romance and
tragedies.
