yeah, right! First of all, you are wearing armor that is only good for
stopping conventional weaponry(We all know that boomers dont fall into
that category). Second you are carrying conventional weaponry(for the
most part anyway)(the stomach is one of the exceptions). Third you have
to put up with seeing Genom close cases faster than you can open them.
Of course they dont pay all that well, look at Leon's pad, look at
Nene's pad! Now if you're good enough to land yourself in a K-11 maybe
you can handle stock boomers(but how often are the K-11s wasted by
superior boomers?) A K-12 is good, but there arent that many of them
around, and they still dont have the firepower to stand head to head
with most combat boomers. So working for the ADP is more dangerous than
working for the KS OR Genom! At least they have some advantages, the ADP
doesnt!

There is another option most people dont mention, the junkyard
vigilante! I know, its not as cool looking as the KS suits, but if it
works, dont knock it!

The solo vigilante is something I havent seen all that much in SI
fanfics, they may be out there, but I havent seen any of them. If any do
