I re-read the original stories and Ranma's act does call for her to hate
her curse. She also refers to the fact that her personality changes( the
scene where she explains everything to Tatewaki), so this scene does fit
the series.
It is just too strong without some background, like Ranma thinking,
Ok, how do I convince Kodatchi- That I don't want to be male and Marry
her. I know I will convince her of how bad the curse is and
then threaten her with it.
