I apologize if I don't respond to everyone's messages on this. Time is not
my friend right now.

The debates that occured yesterday could not have occured at a worse time.
It may have been Ash Wednesday yesterday, but I found I *had* to go to
church last night, things were so bad. To put it quickly, someone broke a
promise, and the next month (which is already going to be difficult) is
going to be all the harder because of it. And, at that moment, a
discussion from people who seemingly had not fully accepted the premise
behind the work was not something I had time for.

Gary, Richard... thank you for your comments. However, your
recommendations are denied. Ranma has a whole slew of mitigating
circumstances in the situation at hand. Taking those circumstances
combined, her words cannot be taken in the splitting-hairs value you're
assigning to it.

1. She's trying to put on an act for Kodachi. I have talked about the
results of this.

2. She's in the heat of battle. Points must be made with a minimum number
of syllables. I could say "Then...only then, after everything's changed,
do you notice the strange feeling of personality dislocation in your mind,"
but it just doesn't have the same urgency that 'fuzz' has.

Doug... if you're a religious person, say a nice long prayer tonight that
you got out of it. Not many do. For a movie quote, "Once you start down
the dark path, forever will it dominate your existence." This is true of
most of the transgendered. Cross-dressers will often do what's called
'purging', where they not only stop wearing women's clothing, but actually
throw away their old clothes or give them to Goodwill. Eventually, though,
most go back because, while the clothes go, the desires stay. It's the
Dark Phoenix dilemma, for those familiar with X-men: Can I live the rest of
my life with this side of me, knowing that it could one day overwhelm me
and hurt those I love? Most have to.

If you have any comments, I can be reached privately.
