But why write a Lodoss fanfic?

Because it's my favorite anime that I've ever had the opportunity to watch,
even if it doesn't lend itself to fanfiction as much as Ranma 1/2 does.

This seems to me a waste of time.  There isn't much of an audience for
Lodoss fanfiction, so I think you just wasted your talent and time
writing a fanfic about it.

Bah, hardly.  I write because I like to write, not because I want to become
famous or anything like that.  

Remember the old joint-effort project we (and a whole bunch of other people
:)) did together, "Blood of the Chozo," back when we were on AOL?  We
didn't get any C&C at all...didn't expect to, even.  Did we care?

Nah.

Stick to Ranma fanfics, Hunter Kid.  You'll notice that you got not
C&C (or very little, if you got some privately) 

I got a few C&C messages on the fic.  But like I said, that's not the
reason I wrote the fic...

for this fic.  You
know why?  Because it was Lodoss, a little-known series.

Perhaps I may have just publicized it a little with my fanfic, then, eh,
Tarot? ;)

Now think back to how well-liked Ryoga 1/2 and Mirror Images were, and
you tell me your conclusion...

They weren't that well-liked, you know.

They've received quite a bit of commentary, but it's simple stuff, like:
"Write more."  "I liked it."  And so on.  Besides, Ryoga 1/2's a 150+ page
story that's been in the works for over 2 years.  Of course it'll be more
well-liked than some fic I just started writing.

Thanks for the commentary, BTW, even if it *was* negative.  I did, after
all, request that people say what they did and didn't like about the fic.
