I need some info for ADD2: Paradox and thought I'd check here before I began a quest of knowledge.

Okay, the first thing I need is pretty simple. A bunch of the characters are leaving on a vacation of sorts pretty soon, and I need to decide where they are going and do a bit of research on the area before I continue. Wherever I send them off to, it has to have some decent beaches, a lot of sun, and a large mall with several clothing stores including a Victoria's Secrets (No; it isn't turning into a lemon later on). When I write the vacation scenes I also want to sound like I know the area decently well, but my travel experiences are very limited. If anyone could tell me where I might have this vacation take place, along with some local knowledge I'd be grateful. The only limitations I have on the location is that it needs to be as far away from Japan as an upper-middle class family could afford with about 10 people going.

Secondly, I have a few ice-skating scenes planned for waaaay later on. My knowledge of skating in any form is limited to rollerblades and skates so if someone could give me a rough idea of how to choreograph a figure-skating scene I would be most grateful. Also, I need some basic knowledge on the subject of teaching ice-skating. I need a character to go from novice to pro in about a week's time, so I need to be able to emulate someone who knows exactly how to teach. (Very unrealistic, but it's in the Ranmaverse, and I intend to make it sound realistic at the time)

I should be able to handle everything else using the web, Thanks in advance, and my apologies for the continued delays of my reviewing results. I've been having some pretty bad insomnia problems over the past week, and I want to wait until I am back at top condition to avoid any unfair ratings or stupid mistakes in my post to the FFML.
