Um, it seems you misunderstood. I have the fic, but if I forward
something it becomes an instant attachment, ergo I need someone (you) to
send a fic to the list themselves, because I can't do it. So, slap a
note and "reply to:" on the fic and send it away!
Thanks,
PMasters

Okay, here is the fic... when the FFML is "Operative" again ^_^, send it
there, please. Tell me what you think.
Thanks,

PM Productions Presents
A Phillip Masters Fanfic
After the Fact
Continuity Note: This work takes place during/after the events
chronicled in Tenchi Muyo in Love.
Prologue:
They thought I was dead. I could hear their screams as they saw my
shattered body on the Observation Deck floor. I heard everything. I
heard the villian who had rendered me useless taunt his victims, before
being sucked into Sub-Space, again. I felt the dispair of those who
were left behind, as they sought to save Lady Achika. The smallest of
muscles in my face tried to pull my lips into a grin as I heard the
firing of the Dimensional Cannon, and the death wail of my foe.
Yes, they thought I was dead, but they couldn't leave the body of a
Galaxy Police Operative lying on the destroyed Tokyo Tower's floor.
What an interesting thing for the construction workers to find. No,
they needed to remove all evidence.
I felt myself pulled away from space/time once more, and thrust
elsewhere. Unfortunately, where I was deposited I can't be sure. My
eyes are still incapable of sight, and my tactile nerves have been
dulled for obvious reasons.
I can tell that it is slightly cold here, that is all. There is no
sound whatsoever, and the air tastes stale. All I can do now is rest,
while the microscopic implants work to restore my lost physiology. With
only thirty-five percent of my total left, it could take days before I
can even move once more. However, through some stroke of luck, the most
important parts of my body are intact, and I will live until the nanites
have completed their task. Now, all I can do is wait.

My eyes open, and I instantly do a self-diagnostic. My visual
sensors adjust to the lighting conditions automatically as my internal
computer flashes me the thumbs up, so to speak. I blink a few times,
clearing the grime that has collected on my lenses over the past few
days. The sun is glaring down on me from above, telling me that I'm
outside.
I turn my head, to see a tire next to it. Confused, I look the
other way, only to find a large broken pipe. Lovely, Washu dumped me in
a junkyard. I can't belive she would think I was dead... I also can't
buy that she would dump me anywhere like this. Isn't she supposed the
be the greatest scientific mind in the universe, or something?
Well, no use harping over what is. I try moving my legs slowly,
bringing my nerve receptors back on-line. Feeling rushes through me in
a torrent, making me wince. It seems there is something sharp stuck
into my shoulder. I reach around and pull the offending wire from my
person. I blink and the hole closes up, leaving only a spot of blood
upon my skin.
I know I am still on Earth, my spatial locator only confirms the
obvious. With a few calculations I find I am still in 1970 as well. My
link with Galaxy Police Headquarters proves this, as it is quite busy
and not deathly quiet as it would be in my own time. That bastard,
Kain. Why... why couldn't we... couldn't I do anything? He just
destroyed us... the only thing that saved me was my molecular
stabilization field. Even with all my advanced and powerful technology
I was no where near a match for Kain, even the House of Jurai had
difficulty defeating him. In the end, it took a Dimensional Cannon to
do him in, the most powerful weapon in the Galaxy Police arsenal. Only
a handful of personnell know to use the device, including me. Only one
device can *match* it in power, and that is the DDM, or Dimensional
Disruption Mine. It's little more versatile than the DC. You must
place it in the relative spatial location of the Galaxy you want to
remove, set it, then run like hell. For, unlike the DM, the
cross-dimentional shockwaves are much worse.
I sigh, my mind tends to wander to such things as weapons.
Drawback of my training, always thinking of the best possible way of
removing the enemy. For, that's my job, 'remove the threat at *all*
costs, as effectively and efficiently as possible.' They give me a
file, I give them a corpse. Apprehention of the types of criminals I
hunt for is generally impossible. I have, to reference a popular Earth
movie, 'a Licence to Kill.' I don't necessarily enjoy what I do,
however I know the importance of it. It is my duty to make sure the
Universe is a safer place to live, even if the cost is an unwashable
amount of blood coating my hands.
I look down at said hands. They are new, soft and pink, but the
symbolic blood is still there.
Wait... soft and pink?
I get up completely and pat myself over. As I feared, no hair.
Not only is there no hair, but nothing else about me is right at all.
What did those damn things do to me? I look around, a moment of panic
washing over me. My eyes fall on a car that looks as though it was
folded in half by some mechanical giant. However, through some maniacle
twist of fate, the side mirror came out entirely intact. A glance in it
confirms my fears.
When Kain 'killed' me, he must have damaged my DNA somehow.
Probably through temporal distortion. Whatever the cause, to reform me,
the machines in me had to use an undamaged blueprint to create the mold.
What I'd like to know is why in hell they decided to use *that*
DNA?!
I had become Masaki Achika, and no, I did not like it one little
bit.
END PROLOGUE
Well, send comments and such. This story, if you don't know, is set
from the POV of the Operative in Tenchi in Love.
Thanks for reading,
