Off-C&C: I've occasionally toyed with the idea of a fic where Ranma
discovers he has zero aptitude for teaching others. He's as bad at
passing along his fighting skill as Akane is at cooking, and can't seem
to improve no matter what he tries. Ranma then has to face a future
where taking over the Tendo dojo just isn't a possibility. Anybody want
this idea?

I like the idea. Being able to DO something and being able to teach it
well can be two quite different things. I suspect trying to teach someone
who couldn't pick things up as fast as he does would drive Ranma bonkers.
He would move at too fast a pace, or get frustrated when students of less
talent struggled to learn what comes so naturally to him.

Andre always was the cryptic type. That's why I loved him so. Our
love was fresh like a summer day, well maybe a spring day, summer around
here is pretty wretched and hot. "I am climbing Jacob's ladder," I
replied. It is our wont to converse entirely through literary and
musical allusions. "Just another fallen angel, trying to get through the
night."

He nodded, "Step by Step, rung by rung. These are the days of our
lives."

     Oh, so true.
