I dunno, I guess you could call it a crisis of faith.

I would.

As little as my opinion matters, I'm inclined to say the same.

[...] That's when it occurred to me: maybe I shouldn't be running fanfic
panels anymore.

You know what, I just realized something. I don't have time to write
fanfics.

Huh. Ok, well, party's over folks. Go home. I'm shutting down the
mailing list.

Wolf, you've got quite a way of getting a point across, don't you?

Don't get me wrong: I *love* running the panels. They're sort of my
babies, the whole concept having been my idea in '95. And I think
I've done a good job, overall. The last panel had too many members
on it, but other than that, the panels have been popular and fun.

Hey... I love running this list.

*pikupiku*.. I think I'm scared now.

Hey, I *love* doing this! What the hell am I thinking?

I refuse to take OBVIOUS bait.

So, I thought I'd ask the FFMLers. Should I keep on, or is it time
for me to step aside? Just as important, if it is indeed time for me
to move on, who will take my place? I know there are those who are
capable (AlberCrombie for example), but are they willing?

He's gotten too busy with work.

Let me know what you think.

I think you need to stop and think about this. You don't need to be a
high production author to be involved in fanfiction.

This may be one of those rare moments in history-- I agree with
White Wolf. There are many people besides the AUTHORS who
deal in fanfiction-- there are those who help run the mailing lists,
the people behind RAAC, the dedicated editors that help the authors..
I could continue the list for a considerable amount of time.

And because I'll almost certainly be going through with this year's
panels, let me know if you're planning to attend either KatsuCon or
Anime Central, and if you'd like to be on the panel.

I *will* be attending KatsuCon. It's 20 minutes away this year.

Interesting. I'd said I might try to show at a con this year.. but prolly
not KatsuCon-- I value my life. ;)
