<< Consider some of the possibilities for how the story might procede. Ranma
has formally asked Ukyou to marry him and she has accepted. It's a done
deal. Barring some unforseen accident or death of one or both of them, it
will happen, eventually. >>
No, I can still see how Ranma and Akane can get together from this point. It
isn't easy (but nothing worthwhile ever is). After some time together Ranma &
Ukyo still aren't married yet. (Let's just say that they don't have parental
permission and have to wait until they're legal adults.) During this time
Ranma realizes that he's still in love with Akane and not Ukyo, but becaused
of his promise, he still intends to marry Ukyo. However, this does effect
him, causing him to become depressed. Ukyo slowly comes to realize what's
wrong with Ranma and the reasons behind it, and she releases him from his vow.
A double case of "the man who learned better."
I don't expect that this is what Zen will write. Zen wants Ranma and Ukyou
together, so Zen won't do this. I do ask Zen to consider one thing however.
Sometimes nobody gets a happy ending. What would happen in the above
situation if Ukyo didn't release Ranma from his vow.
