It might be more interesting if she snagged Konatsu into playing Ranma, lots
of easy gags to be made about a guy who thinks of himself as a girl trying
to pretend he's a guy just so he can help/get closer to the woman he loves...

  This would be a funny premise.  It's reminiscent of Victor/Victoria or
perhaps a Feydeau play.  To add further complications, there could be
confusion over the sex identity of both Ukyou and Konatsu.
