Hello all,
This is just a quick idea that popped into my head today after reading
another short fic. I hope you like it, it didn't quite turn out quite as
well as I had thought, but I hope it's still worth a chuckle or two.

Any comments are welcome, I'm also unsure how well this formatting goes
over so if anyone has any trouble at all with it just tell me.

Story: One last technique

Ranma looked into the nursery at his baby boy. He's got Akane's eyes,
Ranma thought. She was asleep in the other room and Ranma had got up to
look down at his son, he felt he could stare at that tiny face for hours.
He felt a hand on his shoulder and turned around quietly to see his father
standing there grinning as well. "Hi pop, I couldn't sleep," Ranma said.
"I know Ranma, I did the same thing with you when you were born. I'm
proud of you my boy, you finally brought me a grand son."
Ranma smiled at his father and said, "Thanks pop, that's good to hear."
He went back to gazing at his son.
After a time his father spoke up once more, "You've learned a lot over the
years boy, you do the Saotome school of Anything Goes Martial Arts proud,
but there is one last thing you need to learn, and now that you have a
child of your own you can."
Ranma didn't interrupt, he had the feeling that this might be one of the
few times his pop actually managed to make sense and he didn't want to stop
him if he was on a roll.
"Yes boy, its time you learned one of the founding techniques of our school."
	"What's that pop?"
"The Saotome School of Anything Goes Martial Arts Engagement Making," his
father replied seriously.
"What did you say old man?" Ranma said, he turned to his father and glared
at him.
His father continued, oblivious to Ranma's mood, "Yes son, it's a
technique by which you engage your children to as many people as possible."
He didn't get any farther before Ranma punted him through the ceiling as
quietly as he could, it wouldn't do to wake the baby.
As Ranma turned back to his son quite a few of his fathers actions made
some small amount of sense more. Not much though.
