Okay I saw this fanfic idea and decided to do what I thik would happen.
A Hypothetical Situation in Nermia  

  The stranger was lying in the hospital bed. Ranma noted that he was

doing reasonably well and didn't seem to suffer any serious burns in the

fire. Ukyo had a few bruises, but for the most part was unharmed. 

  Ukyo was sitting in a chair next to the stranger while Ranma was standing

over the stranger's bed.The stranger began to drift back into consciousness.

Ranma went over to the stranger's side and Ukyo took hold of the stranger's

hand.
   
   The stranger's eyes fluttered. The stranger moaned and said,"Wh-what
happened?"
   
   Ukyo said,"There was a fire and you saved me. Thank you."
  
   The stranger smiled at the girl sitting next to him and squezed her hand.
Ukyo began

to blush. Ranma smiled and said,"If there's anything I can do just ask."
   
    The stranger looked at Ranma and said,"Anything?"
   
   "Anything."
   
   "Okay. Have your dad adopt me so I can become Ukyo's fiancee!"
   
   There was a long period of silence and a visible battle aura could be
seen. The battle

aura was coming from Ukyo.
   
   Ukyo squezed the stranger's hand a lot harder,"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!"
   
The stranger said ,"Uh that I want Ranma's father to adopt me so I could be
engaged

to you."
   
   Ukyo grabbed the stranger by the collar,"WHAT THE HELL GAVE YOU THE IDEA

THAT I WANTED TO MARRY YOU?!"
  
   "Well-I"
  
   "AND WHY DO YOU THINK THAT OLD MAN STILL HAS A HOLD OVER ME?!"
  
   "You see-"
  
   "TO THINK I WAS ACTUALLY STARTING TO LIKE YOU YOU JACKASS CREEP!"
  
   Ukyo took out her spatula and smashed the stranger into the stratosphere.

  
   Ukyo took Ranma by the arm and walked out of the hospital.


I'm sorry, but I just had to write this.  I am really sick and tired of the
authors setting themselves

up with the characters in the story so I wrote what would probably happen if
the otaku said something

like what was suggested. Until I find better things to write about. Ja ne.
