Sorry for the noise, but I gotta tell you all about this,
especially for you folks in the Boston area.
The Harvard-Radcliffe Gilbert and Sullivan Players are putting on
the Mikado this weekend and next weekend. They've put a bit of a twist on
this: first, instead of being in medieval Japan, it's set in modern day
Japan (someone mentioned a software company or something). And, most
interestingly of all, the members of the chorus (non-main characters) are
dressing up as anime characters. It's been confirmed by people involved
with the show, so this is rather reliable. And the publicity posters even
have a pic of Sawanoguchi Sae from Mahou Tsukai Tai on it. ^_^ Go see it,
if you get the chance! Go go go! ^_^
Information about shows:
Dec. 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13 @ 8 PM (13th is Hack Night)
Dec. 6, 7, 13 @ 2 PM
Tickets are $10/$8 for evenings, $8/$6 for matinees, and there is a $3
student/senior discount. It will be at the Agassiz Theater.
If you have any questions, _please_ contact me and not the list,
so as to not produce spam.
Here's to anime going a little more mainstream in the US. ^_^ I
have _got_ to talk to the producer and director.
