Of course. I couldn't imagine it going any other way. Ryouga has slept with
her, seen her dress and undress, been snuggled up to her bosom, been in the
girl's locker room with her... need I go on? This is stuff that she
wouldn't let Ranma get away with (her own fiance and someone she suspects
she loves), let alone just a friend whom she thought was a perfect
gentleman.

	You just pointed out the trick of the situation.  Akane wouln't just 
be mad at Ryouga for decieving and taking advantage of her, she'll also be 
mad because she's stood up for Ryouga and said a lot of nice things about 
him, and will therefore be mad at herself for being blind and so wrong about 
him.

Considering, I'd expect that the family would be having roast piglet that
evening (with Akane ditching a checkered bandanna in her pocket). Ryouga
would be lucky if he got away with not getting Akane and ending up unhappy.
He'd be very fortunate if Akane still wants to be his friend. Actually
_getting_ Akane would take an act of God (or a plot of Author).

	Well that's not to bad a worry.  Akane has a temper like a volcano, 
but it tends to act in surges of anger with her being forgiving and nice in 
between.  She would work him over quite thoroughly, but absolutely nothing 
could prompt her to go over the line and try to do something permanent to 
Ryouga.  Of course considering how tough he is, that line would be prety 
far.

The only other way I can see Ryouga coming out of the mess with a chance at
Akane was that if Akane knew all along about his little water problem.

	Well it could work if you branched the story on the night she 
adopted P-Chan so she discovered who he was it could work, but if the fict 
split from the source after that, I'd say that Akane's established herself 
as not knowing.  Still like I said she's a forgiving person by nature.  It'd 
be a while before she forgave him, but she would forgive him in time.  And 
time is the key, because if they stayed in contact for a few years she might 
eventually start thinking of Ryouga in terms that weren't colored by all the 
unpleasant aspects she would have spotted when she learned about P-chan.

Also what's with all the Ranma/Akane pairings in all these fic ideas?
Akane beats Shampoo in a fight for Ranma? Ranma dumps Shampoo? Ranma
dumps Ukyou? ARGGG!! :P What about poor Ucchan and Shampoo-chan? They
deserve Ranma as much as Akane does, if not more. :) They sure treat him
better than Akane do. (The way Akane beats Ranma would be considered
abuse if it wasn't supposed to be funny...)

Love is blind, Nobody. If love made sense, it wouldn't be as interesting.

	Besides, while Akane gets jelous, she's the only fiance who's 
actually willing to consider Ranma's interests before her own.

Now, I had thought that the mailing list was past the "Akane/Shampoo/Ukyou/
Kodachi should die"-FlameWar stage. If you start one, I'll sic Tybalt on
you!
