LOL!!! I say go for this one :) But how about instead of Akane beating up
Ryouga, she decides she still wants him to do "a little favor for her",
i.e. an Akane/Ryouga lemon. :) Almost every single fic I've seen where
Akane finds out about P-chan, ends up with Ryouga NOT getting Akane and
ending up very unhappy. :(

Strange that... I can't imagine why most people think Akane's reaction
would make Ryouga unhappy.

Although I do think that if AKane should eventually work it out, her
personality tends to favour an immediate, extremely violent, responce.
Once that was out of the way Akane is quite likely to be forgiving,
particularly if she did "permanent" damage in her immediate responce. ;-)

Also what's with all the Ranma/Akane pairings in all these fic ideas?
Akane beats Shampoo in a fight for Ranma? Ranma dumps Shampoo? Ranma
dumps Ukyou? ARGGG!! :P

The evidence isn't 100% conclusive, but it's quite likely that the person
with the ideas has fallen for Rumiko Takahashi's 38 volumes of
mis-direction and believes that they are supposed to get together. He
obviously missed the subtle clues that you've noticed. ;-)

What about poor Ucchan and Shampoo-chan? They
deserve Ranma as much as Akane does, if not more. :)

I'm really not so sure that any of the girls *DESERVE* Ranma, but they
all want him anyway. ;-)

They sure treat him
better than Akane do. (The way Akane beats Ranma would be considered
abuse if it wasn't supposed to be funny...)

I take it you're a big fan of "The Bitter End" by Zen.

As a side comment on the pairings, it's difficult, if not impossible, to
make up a complete set of matches that is easy to swallow. Most who try
end up going down well beaten paths (which have their own set of
problems) or have characters acting just-a-little OOC.

To suceed... well from the Point of View of the girls (assuming they
don't get Ranma):

Ukyou: Needs to get past her obbsession with Ranma, once that's done a
nice guy prepared to treat her as an equal and actively Romance her is
probably the best (though not only) approach.

SHampoo: The rules of the Joketsuzoku offer an easy out for her, however
most people are more than a little simplistic in their approach.
E.G. The law states that if a maiden is defeated by a man then she is
the wife of that man. To me that has always meant that fighting Shampoo
for her hand is *POINTLESS* so long as Ranma is around, because under
that law Shampoo is Ranma's WIFE and the law does not state that beating
another man's wife means that you get to take her off him. Given the
nature of the Joketsuzoku once the marriage has occurred (regardless of
what the groom might think ^_- ) the only reasonable approach is to
defeat the husband and show yourself more worthy, although for this point
it is up to the individual authors to decide on how the laws of the
Joketsuzoku might run. One thing so keep in mind is that the
Joketsuzoku have quite... archaic... laws and for most of China's history
it was taken for granted that wealthy and/or powerful men would have
multiple wives - it's quite possible that Shampoo might be fighting to
get Ranma to herself, knowing that her laws would force her to accept
other wives if Ranma want's them. It's really all up to the author.

Kodachi: To get Kodachi together with anyone (assuming the other parties
consent is required) requires a vision of her mental state that allows
for a sane relationship. I can't help anyone here.

Akane: To be honest... I think the comments for Ukyou apply here as well.

Enough for now. Hope someone finds these comments useful, or even
entertaining.
