A general warning for anyone here: If you don't like spoilers (even

I dunno...I wouldn't class this as a small spoiler. It's actually quite
big (I know Andrew already said that, but hey I have to chip in too...:).
But Kudos to you for chipping in spoiler space here, which is a very nice
thing to do for people that want to see more Escaflowne.

Sigh, and I remember the day I spoiled myself on the end of the first
Rayearth manga series...:P

Still here? Cool.

Second Nature

A work of anime fanfiction by Nicholas Leifker

I'm not sure who created Escaflowne, or who owns it. I beg pardon to
whoever they are. I ask that you not publish or use any part of this
work without the author's permission.

Shouji Kawamori (SP on the first name?) created the orginal Escaflowne
idea which was turned into the rather lackluster Shonen comic that
predates the anime series. Kawamori then revisted the idea after the Eva
TVs eries ended and Bandai was more than happy to finacne Escaflowne in
the hopes of topping Eva (which Esca more than did IMSO). After which came
out the much more intresting Shoujo comic from Asuka....:)

Anyway, great story that provided a nice add on to the end of the series,
which sorta of brushed past the final part of the Dilandu/Serena (or is it
Selena..argh...:) sub plot. Also this story goes to show yet another
point, that good character devlopment does need to happen in a lot of
text. It can also come in a well written short fic...

Great stuff!!
