After seeing Starship Troopers last night and (more importantly) a
certain trailer before it, I've decided to make a trailer of my own...

The little girl looked up at her parents as they sat on board the
plane. The plane shook from the lightning storm that raged outside.
However, the little girl wasn't afraid. With her parents sitting so
calmly, she couldn't help but be brave. The thunder could shout at
the top of its voice and it could turn the plane upside down but if
her parents weren't afraid, she wouldn't be either.
Then it happened.
While looking out the window, her mother paled as she saw something.
Then her father looked out the window and saw the same thing. Then
the people in the seats in front and behind them saw it too, and then
the screaming began.
However, the girls parents didn't scream, didn't panic, didn't lose
control. They simple went to comfort their daughter, who was
starting to feel her bravery slip as the others in the plane began to
lose control of themselves.
Then, the plane was rocked as... something ripped the right wing off.
The explosion from the wing seperating, gutted the side of the plane
and the little girls' eyes widened as she saw her mother get sucked
out the hole that the rouge wing had torn.
The plane spiraled down towards the ground, falling thousands of feet
in a single second. The impact was brutal, the fire ball from the
crash, traveled through the compartment and the only thing that saved
the little girl was her Dad throwing himself over her.
The whimpering sounds of the wounded and dying merged with the
rainfall and lightning. Then, all was drowned out by a roar that
shook the earth.
That was when the girl started to scream...
and scream...
and scream...
and scream...
The rescue crews found the girl, one out of five survivors of the
plane crash. Her eyes wide with shock. Over the course of a month,
as they healed her body, the girl overheard many times that the cause
of the accident had been a stray lighting bolt, and an ill timed gust
of wind...
... but the girl knew better.
Makoto Kino, in the year 1984, knew much better.
