[Ed Notes: Here we go one last time. The Weekly Synopses List for the
week ending 25 October 1997. It's the six month anniversery of the
weekly synopses. SIX months. Good god. And, of course, it's the last
one I am doing, as of now I am retired. That little plea I sent out
yesterday certainly seems to have improved things a... bit ^_^, and so,
for the last time from me, browse, choose, enjoy.]
[You'll notice that a couple of synopses are a bit longer than usual.
Since itwas my last time, and since these people were replying to a plea,
I dropped my normal 10 line rule.]
[From now on, the synopses lists will be handled by... (drumroll)... a
group, to make the job less stressful. The group consists of:

Florencio B. de la Merced, Jr. Expect to see a post on the FFML over the
next few days or so, on how they'll be handling the list. Please support

Ranma and Akane were killed in a car accident. Seventeen years later,
Saotome Nozomu, their only son who was adopted by Tofu Ono and Kasumi,
is worried his life is too boring and he's not living up to what his
parents were. Strange things starts to happen to him, and... well,
that's all that's written so far. It promises to be a long and
involving story, and parts should be released daily (pending RL).

Night Sabers is a story about the end of the world. Taking
place in late 2035, after the events of Bubblegum Crash, it
truly begins with the return of Mackie Stingray to MegaTokyo.
But Mackie has a dark secret, for he is now undead, a vampire
of Clan Lasombra and the Sabbat, and must balance family and
new duties as he desperately attempts to hold onto his humanity
in the face of what is to come and what he has seen. Little
does the new vampire know that he is special, marked, to play a
critical role in the fate of the world... one which others will
stop at nothing to control.
In Part 5, Mackie comes home to the Silky Doll. There, he
learns of the plans of his sister to expand her financial
empire. When the Knight Sabers respond to a crisis, Mackie
begins to feel old emotions once more, hopes destroyed by the
Sabbat blossoming again. Mackie, alone, begins the task of
balancing his undead duties as a member of the Sabbat
while at the same time hiding it from his sister and the other
KS. At the scene of the incident, an unlikely hero desperately
reaches out to the mortal world, to warn them of the doom
approaching, of the Darkness Descent.
When Nene is wounded, Mackie calls upon those of his clan to
aid him, he finds their help comes with a heavy price tag. At
the same time, unknown beings begin to play a sick game for the
control of Mackie, through the ShadowLink, with far-reaching
and devestating results. Mackie must watch as his reborn hopes
decay before him.
Secrets revealed, new mysteries shown, the game for the fate of
the world truly begins, as one once a boy finds himself swept
up in events beyond mortal imagination. But it is a game he
must play, however small a part, if there is ever to be a
future.
