A little later tonight, I'm going to post Chapter Two of "Ranko's 
Life S".  Some of you may be wondering why they don't remember Chapter 
One from me.  
	Some months ago, I posted a fairly detailed story idea on the 
FFML to see if anyone was interested in writing it.  Hitomi Ichinohei 
liked the notion, or at least large parts of it, and wrote the first 
chapter of "Ranko's Life."  
	Unfortunately, Hitomi has gone on indefinite hiatus, which left 
hir fanfics unfinished.  In the interest of seeing at least one of them 
go on, I have reclaimed my idea.  To make it clear this is not quite the 
same story as Hitomi would have written, I added the "S" for "Scott" in 
the title.
	For those wishing to see Chapter One, it's available in the RAAC 
archives, or can be requested from me at majks@cyberx.com .  
	While I don't believe anything in Chapter Two directly 
contradicts Chapter One, I definitely have a different artistic vision 
than Hitomi.  So I hope that those who enjoyed Chapter One will also be 
able to enjoy my continuation, and those who didn't will give my 
rendition a try anyway.
