Diablerie:Nerima
Part 4
By: P-R-P-Chan and Ben Kalman
The morning after; the entire houshold was in for a shock. Soun's
screaming was enough to wake the dead.
"KASUMIII! WHERE DID YOU GO?? WHO COULD'VE KIDNAPPED MY DEAR KASUMI?!?"
"Daddy, what are you going on about?" Nabiki asked, rolling her eyes.
Akane raced out of her room and into Kasumi's, "Father, what's wrong?"
Soun turned to face his progeny, tears streaming down his face, "I couldn't
find Kasumi, she wasn't up, so I came into her room to see if she was
feeling any better
and all i found was this pile of ashes on her bed

"Oh dear," was all Nabiki could manage, biting her lower lip in contemplation.
"Oh NO!!" Akane said, holding her head in her hands.
After the two girls had calmed Soun down a bit , they carried him to his
bed while
discussing the situation.
"You know what this means, Akane dear, someone else is trying to move into our
territory!"
"How can you be so cold and calculating! Our sister just died, and that's all
you have to say?"
"You should be beyond that type of thinking, little sister, it isn't like we
haven't had to deal with this kind of situation before." They deposited
Soun into his
bed. "Besides, she'll be back."
They heard a small giggle behind them, then turned and saw a shimmering Kasumi
rise up through the floor, "Oh Nabiki, you're just so smart! How did you
know I'd be
back?"
"Lucky guess?" Nabiki said, with a smile and a giggle, quietly motioning
towards Akane.
Kasumi murmured. "Alright you two, let father be, don't worry, I'll
watch over him, after all one good spirit deserves another!"
"Wha...?" The two remaining sisters said to each other in shock.
"Just a figure of speech! I'll taek care of him, he needs to rest in peace. Now
you two go and play quietly!" Her hands reached though Akane and Nabiki.
She furrowed her
brow in concentration, then she lifted the two girls off the ground and
escorted then out
the door. "That's better, now don't be late for dinner."
