In all seriousness, there are only so many things you can think of writing
about without introducing new characters from Moon Kingdom.

I disagree with that general statement. I have never written a story that
had new character from the Moon Kingodom appear in the time frame where
Sailor Moon was set. I did write a Sailor Moon fic for the Sailor Moon
Expanded project but that took place completely in the Moon Kingdom Era.

Oh come on. What about one of the most underutilised (in fanfics) Sailor
Moon cultures, the Nemesis (Black Moon) clan? What about drawing characters

>from other mythology/nationality legend backgrounds? What about making up

something that has nothing to do with the Moon Kingdom?

       A major facet of the whole Moon Kingdom scenario is the fact that
1,000 years from now, Sailor Moon will reign as Queen Serenity over all the
earth. Well, what leads to this take-over? And, as a fic idea. . .
        . . .what if a large percentage of humanity decides that it doesn't
*want* to be ruled under an absolute monarchy (however benevolantly run)?
What about the differnet religions (Christianity and fundamentalist Islam
come to mind) that perhaps are a wee bit *opposed* to worshiping Serenity
as a Goddess? And if humanity has spread throughout space by then--I find
it hard to believe that we'll *still* be all on the same planet--how is she
gonna gather them all under her control?
        Just a few thoughts for fic idea perusal (has anything like this
been done? It seems like a natural for a darkfic).
