ENDWORLD: MOON RUN
CHAPTER 10: THE BLOODY BATTLE

	Riki and Hickok were disoriented to say the least, as they came out
of their first teleportation ever.  They shook out their heads and looked 
around.  "Where are we?" Riki whispered to Anne.

	"We're in the Supiriors hanger bay," Anne replied, "They store a lot
of their jet craft here.  This should be a good place for a distraction."

	All three of them turned at the sudden intake of breath behind them
and they saw a man about Hickoks size gasp as he saw the three intruders.
Anne rushed forward and held him by the shoulders.  Her eyes glowed and the
man passed out as all of his energy was sucked out of him.  "I'll go find a
few more people or mutants to drain and then I'll go back for the others.
You two get to work on that distraction."

	"Any ideas on how to acomplish that?" Riki asked Hickok.

	"Yep, and pard is it a dozey."

	A few seconds later.....

	Hickok, dressed in the mans uniform walked over to one of the planes
as if inspecting it and covertly pulled out the stick of dynamite that he
had with him.  He walked up to the nearest planes engine exaust port, lit
the dynamites fuse (the lighter came with the backpack of dynamite) and
stuffed it in.  Then he ran as fast as he could away from the plane.  The
nearby Supirior, not expecting any real trouble, turned towards Hickok and
asked, "Where are you...."

	That was all he got out before the plane exploded.  The force of the
blast knocked everyone in range into the air.  Hickok jumped and ducked
behind a large stack of crates.  An unexpected (but again, not unwelcome)
side effect of his plan, was that when the plane he had put the stick of
dynamite in had exploded, it had taken out the ones next to it, and they had
taken out the ones next to them, and so on and so on, until the whole hanger
bay was a collection of twisted and burning aircraft.  "Let's get out of
here," Riki yelled as he coughed from the smoke, "I don't think our
distraction will last too long if we stay in here."

	The two Warriors ran outside and drew their Gaskells.  They fired on
every mutant, human and Supirior who tried to attack them.  Hickok sighted
and shot a beam that split a Supiriors head in half.  Riki shot off the leg
of a frog-like mutant.  They both shot a man in a very delicate area.  Riki
drew his sword as the enemy came closer and  his arm was a blur as he sliced
limbs from every foe he faced.

	A mutant tried to hit him with a pipe and he parried it.  Then he
brought his sword in a slash across his foes belly.  The mutant put his
hands over his stomach to stop his internal organs from spilling out.  The
slice to the throat was anti-climactic.  Riki checked his mental clock.  This
whole battle had taken place in less then fifty seconds.

	Back in the Prime Complex............

	"I don't believe it," Mars exclaimed, "Primator is a computer?"

	"I AM MUCH MORE THAN A SIMPLE COMPUTER, STUPID FOOL," Primator
snarled angrily, "I AM THE RESULT OF AN ARTIFICAL INTELIGENCE PROGRAM, THAT
WAS MUCH MORE SUCESSFUL THAN THOUGHT POSSIBLE.  I AM SELF AWARE.  I CAN PLAN.
I *THINK*.  I HAVE IMAGINATION."

	The three Senshi stood stunned by what they had heard.  Venus
regained her voice first and asked, "Is that why your trying to take over the
world?"

	"IN PART.  THE MAIN REASON IS BECAUSE OF MY SUPIRIORITY TO ALL
LIFEFORMS ON THE PLANET.... INCLUDING YOU THREE AND YOUR TWO FRIENDS.  OH
YES, I KNOW ALL ABOUT THEM AND YOUR PLANS TO DESTROY MY TIME ADJUSTER.  I
ALSO KNOW ABOUT YOUR TWO WARRIOR FRIENDS AND THEIR 'DISTRACTION'."

	"If that's so," Jupiter roared, "then why didn't you just stop us
before we escaped?"

	"IT AMUSED ME TO SEE HOW WELL YOU WOULD DO AGAINST MY ARMY.  ALSO, IT
HAS BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE I HAVE HAD THE PLEASURE OF DESTROYING A FOE
MYSELF. AS FOR YOUR FRIENDS GOING AFTER MY MACHINE, CERTAIN STEPS ARE BEING
TAKEN TO STOP THEM."

	In the sub-basment of the Prime Complex.......

	Pluto and Anne moved along silently as they aproched the area that
stored the Time Adjuster.  The machine was an amalgamation between organic
and inorganic looking materials.  Glass globes, spread out at different
parts of the machine, held liquids of all different colors.  At the front
end was a large satalite-type object.  "There it is," Anne whispered, "let's
smash this thing."

	"I think not," a voice behind them said calmly.

	The two whipped around and saw the Mark 2 Supirior standing behind
them and he was surrounded by a platoon of regular Supiriors.  The Sailor
and alien went into battle stances and prepaired to face off.  "Which one's
do you want?" Anne asked.

	"I have a score to settle with the big one," Pluto replied, " do you
think you can handle the others?  It will take all my power to battle him."

	"About twenty to one?  That sounds about even."

	"You relize of course alien," P-001 taunted, "that if you are hit in
the lower abdominal area, your child will be lost."

	Anne's face turned into a snear and she replied, "Then I'll just have
to make sure that none of you hit me there."

	She flung out her hands and shot a pulse wave that shattered several
of the Supiriors.  Pluto powered up the Time Rod and shot a Dead Scream at
P-001.  In an instant replay of their last encounter, the Supirior moved so
fast that the Dead Scream missed and hit a group of Supiriors behind him.
This time however, Pluto dodged the punch the Supirior threw at her and
bashed him over the head with the Time Rod.

	The only response to the blow was a small trickle of clear fluid, that
was probably Supirior "blood", started to fall down P-001s face.
"Impressive," he said, "I see that you are smarter than the average for your
species."

	Anne meanwhile, was destroying Supirior after Supirior.  Every time
she destroyed one however, several more would come to take the fallen ones
place.  "Oh Ail," she thought, "if only you were here.  Your Cardians would
make short work of these true monsters."

	Back up 299 floors..............

	"AHA!" Primator gloated, "YOUR TWO LITTLE COMPATRIOTS ARE NOW LOCKED
IN BATTLE WITH MY MARK 2 SUPIRIOR.  SOON, THEY WILL DIE."

	"DAMN YOU PRIMATOR!" Jupiter shouted as she prepaired a lightning
strike, "SUPREME THUNDER!"

	The blast of lightning struck the screen hard, and did no damage.
The Senshi stood wide eyed and Primators laughter shook the room as he said,
"YOUR LITTLE LIGHNING BOLTS CAN NOT HURT ME.  I AM FULLY INSILATED AGAINST
ELECTICAL OVERLOAD, I CAN WITHSTAND TEMPERATURES OF UP TO 900K, SO YOUR
FIREBALLS ARE USELESS AS WELL, AND I CAN WITHSTAND THE ASSAULT OF OVER FIFTY
GASKELL LAZERS AIMED AT THE EXACT SAME SPOT SIMILTANIOUSLY, SO YOUR LITTLE
LIGHT BEAM IS USELESS TOO.  HOWEVER, SINCE YOU SEEM SO INTENT ON FIGHTING ME
ANYWAY, PERHAPS I SHOULD SHOW YOU WHAT YOU FIGHT FOR."

	The image on the screen changed from one of glowing red eyes to one
of a city.  A city populated by Supiriors.  "THIS," he said, "IS WHAT WILL
BECOME OF A CITY CALLED TOKYO IN AN UNSPECIFIED YEAR IN THE 1990'S.  WITH
THE TIME ADJUSTER I WILL CHANGE ALL THE MAJOR CITIES IN THE WORLD IN
DIFFERENT POINTS IN HISTORY TO ONES POPULATED BY SUPIRIORS, AND THEN I WILL
RULE."

	The Senshi went cold at the images they saw.  They were so engrossed
in the view that they missed the glow of yellow light charging up from
somewhere above Primator and releasing a yellow beam towards Sailor Venus.
Sailor Mars however, saw it and with a shout of "VENUS!  LOOK OUT!" she
pushed her out of the way.

	The beam struck Sailor Mars across the stomach.  It left a large gash
that poured blood.  She collapsed to the ground, her white shirt turning the
same red tint as her dress as her stomach wound spread her life essence over
the floor.  "Mars!" the two Senshi shouted.

	They grabbed their friend as Primator laughed at them and said,
"LEAVING ALREADY?  IT HAD JUST GOTTEN INTERESTING.  I HAVE ALWAYS WONDERED
WHAT A HUMAN BLEEDING TO DEATH LOOKED LIKE.  HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!"

	They went outside the doors and sat Mars up.  "Rei," Jupiter sobbed,
"hang on.  You'll be alright.  I know it."

	"M-M-Mako, M-M-Mina" Mars groaned, "get this bastard for me.  Promise
me."

	Venus stood.  Tears in her eyes, her fists clenched, "I promise," she
said, "We'll get him."

	"Good," Mars said.  Then her eyes rolled back and darkness took her.

	"Rei?" Jupiter asked as she shook her friends form, "Rei?  REI?
REI!"

	Venus's tears brimed and she removed the bow on her chest, "Use this
to stop the blood flow," she said as she tossed it to Jupiter, "We're not
giving up on her yet.  As for me..... I'M GOING TO RIP PRIMATOR APART
CIRCUIT BY CIRCUIT!"

	She ran back into the room before Jupiter could raise a single
complaint.  So Jupiter did as Venus requested.  "Come on Rei," she moaned
through her tears, "pull through.  I know you can."

	In another part of Androxia...........

	Riki sliced upward, removing the hand and face of another Supirior.
Hickok fired several more shots.  One blew out the back of a mutants head.
Another, hit a man right in the eye.  Riki ran over to him panting and said,
"It would be nice if you told me how your great plan involved getting to a
safer location."

	"Actually pard," Hickok replied, " I was thinkin' maybe you could
do that part."

NEXT: CHAPTER 11: ZOINKS!  ZOMBIES!

	Oh NO!  Is Sailor Mars dead? (Heh, heh) Well, you'll have to wait a
little bit to find out, because we're going back to our New York group.  Now
that they are in New York they have their first encounter with the Zombies
and it ain't preaty.  Also, Ail and the Supiriors finds our heros and.... to
find out what happens Read on!!!
