CHAPTER 14: THE FINAL BATTLE PART 2: ROCK THE GARDEN

	"It's down here," Timeiand said.

	Blade and Sailor Moon were the first ones to follow him off the
platform and onto the subway tracks.  They watched as Timeiand stooped over
and opened a hidden door in the middle of the tracks.  They saw nothing but
darkness in the hole and the group jumped down.  Unknown to them, as soon as
they were all down the hole, two shadows went down after them.

	As they walked down the long, dark hallway, Mercury caught up with
Moon and asked, "How are you doing?"

	"I'm fine," was the response.

	"Are you sure?  After what happened before with the Zombies...."

	"I SAID, I'm fine."

	Mercury knew that wasn't completly true.  She could see the dead look
was still in Sailor Moons eyes.  "Physicaly you may be fine," Mercury
shot back, "but what about mentaly?  We might survive this mission, but how
will you be changed?"

	"I would have thought you would be happy," Sailor Moon growled, "I'm
FINALLY what Luna wanted me to be about being Sailor Moon!  Serious!"

	"Somehow," Mercury thought, "I don't think this is what she had in
mind."

	"We have arrived," Timeiand said suddenly, "there is the device that
will cause so much trouble if we are unsuccesful."

	The device was a mess of wires and tubes, connected to a larged
golden cylinder.  Mercury recognized it imeadiatly.  "That's the device," she
thought, " that I saw on the Mind Scape when..........."

	"Well, well, well," a new voice cut in, "I can 'see' that you have
your 'sights' set on getting our prize."

	The group turned and saw Ey-Se-U step into view acompanied by a
Supirior.  The Cardian laughed and continued his pun tirade, "'Looks' like
you fellas are lucky.  You've got some ladies who are a 'sight' for 'sore
eyes'.  I mean, they're real 'eye poppers'."

	Geronimo groaned and whispered to Blade, "'Iris' he'd shut up."

	"Surrender," Ey-Se-U continued, "I'm the most powerful Cardian ever
and my partner here is more than human too.  You don't stand a......"

	"MOON PRINCESS HALATION!!!"

	The Supirior was hit by the creasent moon shaped bolt of energy and
disintergrated.  "All righty then," the Cardian said with a tiny bit of
aprehension, "but I'm still the most powerful Cardian ever and aren't you
supposed to say a speach before doing that?"

	Sailor Moon gave him a VERY nasty look and replied, "Who has time for
speaches?"

	Ey-Se-U gulped and got even more nervous as he saw Blade and Geronimo
heft their Dakon II's threateningly.  "Bye," he said before he ran off as
fast as he could.

	"After him!" Timeiand yelled, "He's probably going for the other
members of the group he's with!"

	Blade, with his longer stride quickly outdistanced the others and
saw the monster jump out onto the tracks.  Blade followed him out of the
hole and imediatly wished he hadn't.  He saw the thing called a "Cardian", a
man with green skin and blue hair, two regular Supiriors, and something that
looked like a more powerful version of one.

	He looked at the green man and said, "I assume your the one called
Ail right?"

	"Correct," was Ail's reply, "I must ask for that device you seem to
be after."

	"The only place that thing is going, is straight to hell."

	Ail growled, "I wouldn't be so sure of that.  P-002, go fetch."

	P-002 sighed, looked at the Supiriors and Cardian and said, "Come
along."

	The three Supiriors jumped down the hole, but the Cardian halted and
looked at Ail.  Ale drew his flute and played the melody that gave Ey-Se-U
his orders.  He nodded and also went down the hole.  Ail turned to Blade and
said, "Now it is just you and me," Ail raised his hand, "and you won't need
that gun."

	The pulse wave Ail shot shattered the Dakon II that Blade held.
Blade was suprised, but recovered quickly as he drew his Bowies and charged
the alien.  Ail ducked and felt a few locks of his hair seperate from his
scalp as the Bowies whoshed by.  "This human is good," he thought, "REAL
good."

	Ail punched Blade in the solar plexus, causing the head Warrior to
double over and drop his knives.  Ail attempted to bring an axehandle down
on the back of Blades neck, but Blade stood up and upercutted Ail in the
jaw.

	Blade grabbed Ail by the throat and started to throtal him.  Ail flew
upwards, planing to smash Blade into the subway tunnels roof.  Blade
repossitoned himself so Ail took the brunt of the trip.  They flew out
through the ceiling of the Garden and into the night sky.

	"Let go you fool," Ail gasped, "If you don't, you'll kill us both."

	"At least," Blade replied, "I'll take you and Primators plans with me
then."

	"If only you knew," Ail thought, "that I do not wish to work with
Primator."

	Back in the tunnels...

	Timeiand had stayed with the device and Mercury stayed with him.
"You knew didn't you?" she asked.

	"Yes," Timeiand replied, "I knew that this mission would be my last
one.  However, that will not stop me from doing what needs to be done."

	Mercury nodded and at that point Geronimo ran into the room and said,
"We've got company."

	Outside the room, the Mark 2 Supirior, the regular Supiriors and
Ey-Se-U had come for the device.  Tuxedo Kamen threw a rose at one of the
Supririors and it stuck in its chest.  The Supirior looked down at the rose
and commented, "Strange.  I did not know a human could throw something blunt
with the velocity to cause penetration."

	Tux looked on in suprise and thought, "I'm starting to feel useless
here."

	"SHABON SPRAY FREEZING!!!"

	The mist hit the Supirior with the rose imbeded in it and the
Supirior was frozen.  Tuxedo then used his cane to shatter the frozen
android.  He gave an apreciative smile at Mercury and added to himself,
"Well, not completely useless."

	 Geronimo fired his Dakon II and the fragmentation bullets ripped the
last regular Supirior to shreds.  Everyone, (with the exception of the M2S)
was suprised when Sailor Moon let out a growl, jumped on Ey-Se-U and pummled
away on his head with her scepter.  "Hey! (ouch)," the Cardian compained as
he tried to fend off the blows, "What (erk) do (youch) you (ungh) think your
(oof) doing?  What's the matter (arrgh) with you (ack) anyway?"

	Timeiand was franticaly pounding on a pad of buttons located on the
side of the device.  He knew that hitting the combination of buttons he was
hitting would set off the devices self-destruct feature.  Although he figure
it had been added originaly to keep it from being stolen by a rival company
then to save the world.  He finished the sequence and turned.  He stood in a
defencive possition.  "I have to stay here," he thought, "The Supiriors
might know how to deactivate the self-destruct and I will not let them win."

	As the combatants in the hall continued to battle......

	In the dark tunnles, a creature awoke.  It's dim mind registered the
sounds of living beings in its home.  The creatures insatiable hunger,
burning like a fire in its belly awoke and it moved out to feed.

	Sailor Moon looked up as she heard a hiss, screamed despite her
promise to herself to be braver and leaped away from Ey-Se-U.  Ey-Se-U stood
up and shook out his head.  "Talk about double vision," he quipped grogily.

	Then his eye stalks turned to where Sailor Moon was gawking and he
let out a small "eek" and froze.  Everyones jaws dropped at the sight of the
...thing standing in front of them.

	It was an amalgamation of insect and arachnid-like traits.  It had a
head like an ants.  It's legs were like a spiders.  Its body was like a
wasps without its wings, with a long deadly stinger at the end.  Its over
twenty eyes were green and glowing.  The size of it was incredible.  It
nearly filled every inch of the thirty foot tall tunnel.  The creature moved
in on Ey-Se-U and the Cardian exclaimed, "Hey!  Why are you looking at me
that way?  I know we're kindred spirits but come on now.  Back off!"

	The beast moved with a speed that should have been impossible for
something its size and chomped its mandables down on both sides of Ey-Se-U.
The mandables dug into the Cardians sides and Ey-Se-U screamed in pain.
The creature shook its head slightly and Ey-Se-U split into two halves.
The top half went into the monsters maw and the bottom half slipped to the
floor.  All of them could hear the loud chewing noises emiting from the
monsters mouth as it ate the Cardian.

	P-002 edged over to Geronimo and said as the creature began to eat
Ey-Se-Us bottom half, "Might I suggest a temporary alliance until this
creature is defeated?"

	Geronimo replied, "Fine by me."

	Geronimo raised his Dakon and fired the bullets at the creature, as
P-002's Gaskell Lazer also went off at the beast.  The Senshi and Tuxedo
Kamen threw in their attacks, for all the good it did them.

	The creature was stunned.  It had figured that if the first one had
been an easy (if not a very tasty) meal, then all of them would have been.
Instead, the creature was hit by things it couldn't see that tore pieces of
it apart, hit by little points of light, hit by a little red thing, blinded
by fog, and a yellow circle came towards it.

	"Moon Tiara ACTION!!!"

	"SHABON SPRAY!!!"

	Tuxedo Kamen threw a rose.

	The creature staggered back from the attack.

	The fragmentation bullets cut into the beast, letting fly, thick
black blood.  The Gaskell also cut deep into the monsters chest, the rose hit
it in one of the eyes, the tiara slashed along its face, releasing more
spurts of blood.

	"Mercury," Moon said, in an unusualy authorative tone, "use your
computer to find any weaknesses on this thing."

	Mercury brought her computer from its subspace pocket and activated
her VR visor.  The scan she ran was not very good.  "I can't find one," she
shouted over the din of the monsters roar.

	"I've got an idea," Geronimo said, "the best way to defeat an
opponent is to disarm them... or disLEG is this case."

	"I see," P-002 said, "I'm suprised human.  It's a good plan.  Not
very imaginative but effective."

	Everyone reaimed their weapons at the beasts legs.  Geronimo
continued to fire until the Dakon clicked on empty.  Sailor Mercury did
another Shabon Spray Freezing, but the monsters legs were so big she couldn't
get all of one in her attack.  Sailor Moon threw her tiara again and she used
all her power to get it to finally cut through one of the legs.  She repeated
this to get another leg but as soon as it was through it turned back from a
discus to its nornal shape and fell to the ground.  "It's out of power," she
said.

	P-002 was supprised when he could only get one leg after fifty shots
from his Gaskell.  "Forget it," Tuxedo Kamen shouted, "its legs are too
thick there's no way we can get through all of them."

	They all heard Timeiand say, "Get out of here!  You've done your job,
the Time Adjuster will never be complete now."

	"The device," P-002 exclaimed, "I must retrieve it!"

	The Mark 2 Supirior ran into the room and everyone could hear the
sounds of fighting.  "Get out of here, good idea," Geronimo said
sarcasticaly, "Any ideas on how to do that?"

	Sailor Moon replied with, "We've got to distract it and then move
REAL quick."

	"I guess distraction means me," Geronimo sighed, "Oh well," he turned
towards the monster, let out his war whoop and shouted, "Over here you
abomination!"

	He ran over to the right, reloaded the Dakon and fired.  The creature
turned towards the loud being that tried to hurt it and lunged.  Geronimo
dodged and yelled, "NOW!  Go NOW!"

	Sailor Moon ran first and went under the creatures legs to the other
side.  She triped on a rock on the ground and fell on her face.  "No!  No!
No!" she thought, "Why did I have to have a klutz attack now?!?"

	The monsters stinger plunged downward and Sailor Moon rolled out of
the way.  She didn't avoid it completly though and it cut her on the
shoulder.  The blood from her shoulder spread over her shirt.  The stinger
came down again and Sailor Moon thought that she was finished until Tuxedo
Kamen scouped her up and carried her out of the way.

	Mercury made it safely and then Geronimo saw that it was his turn.
Sailor Moon knowing it was her turn for making a distraction, (and although
she would never admit it, she also wanted payback) drew her scepter and let
loose a Moon Princess Halation, which cut off the monsters stinger.  The
creature roared in pain and Geronimo ran under it, firing his Dakon upwards
as he went by, making more black blood ooze down on him.

	As soon as he was passed the creature, Geronimo heard an explosion
from the room the device was stored in and he turned his head as he saw a
puff of flame burp out of the room.  "What about Timeiand?" he asked.

	Mercury sadly replied, "He knew this would happen.  We have to go."

	Back up in the sky........

	Ail gagged as Blade tightened his grip.  They were several hundred
feet in the air and Blade was also begining to gasp from the thinning air.
At that moment a new, female voice yelled, "Ail, stop!"

	Ail turned his head and he felt Blades grip loosen slightly, not
enough to try anything but it didn't completly cut off his air supply.
"Anne," Ail gasped, "Your free."

	"Yes," Anne replied, "We're free.  Primator is destroyed."

	Blade growled, "How do I know your telling the truth?"

	Ail began to float slowly to the ground and replied, "How does this
do as evidence?"

	"Not bad," Blade said flatly, "However, helping us destroy the
Supiriors here would go a long way towards convincing me."

	Ail smiled wickedly, "That would be a pleasure."

	They landed in the colosseum and they saw the rest of their group
rushing to meet them.  "AIL, ANNE!" the Senshi yelled cheerfuly.

	The two aliens smiled and the Senshi stopped as they saw Anne's
protruding belly.  They stared in suprise and Tuxedo Kamen thought, "Well,
what do you know."

	Anne smiled and said, "I thought that would be your reaction."

	Geronimo came to Blade and said, "Mission over.  We did it.  The
device is destroyed, but... we lost Timeiand."

	Blade lowered his head and replied softly, "I'll go get the SEAL."

	Geronimo knew that Blade was unreasonably blaming himself for the
loss, he always was hard on himself and everytime he lost someone under his
command he lingered on the should of's and could of's.  He watched as Blade
walked out the doors for the place he had parked the SEAL.

	Then the group turned their heads as they saw the Mark 2 Supirior,
missing its right arm, rush for them.  "Ail," he said, not noticing Anne,
"We must destroy them."

	"Wrong," Ail said as he stood aside to reveil Anne, "your the one
who's destroyed!"

	He flinged out his hand and unleashed a pulse wave that blew off the
head of P-002.  The clear fluid spewed out and the head rolled off into the
shadows.  Ail stood over the Mark 2 Supiriors body and prepaired to kick it,
when the body sat up and grabbed Ail on the back of the head.  Then it
threw Ail into Anne, knocking both of them out.  Everyone was caught
flatfooted and recovered as Sailor Mercury was sluged in the jaw.

	Mercury fell to the ground unconcious and Sailor Moon drew her
scepter but didn't get a chance to fire it, as P-002 hit her in the face and
the stomach.  She crumpled and Tuxedo Kamen slammed his cane into the
headless android.  The M2S grabbed the cane and flipped it, along with its
owner, into the ground.  Tuxedo groaned and passed out.  Geronimo prepaired
to fire but stopped as he saw that the creature they had been fighting
before, somehow, had crawled out of the hole and out of the subway into the
arena.  "Oh great," he groaned, "just what we need now."

	The monster roared and charged P-002.  It grabbed P-002 with its
madables and tried to crush the android.  The androids body was split in
half like Ey-Se-U but the Supirior kept fighting.  It used its one hand to
try to pry open one of the beasts mandables, and the Mark 2's power kept the
outcome of the strange duel in doubt.

	Suddenly, the SEAL burst into the arena and it came at a full charge.
Blade slammed on the brakes and turned it to face the monster.  He flicked
the silver switch marked R.

	The Rocket Launcher fired and it hit the beast right in the mush.
The Mark 2 Supirior was vaporised and the mouth of the creature was
mutilated.

	The monster roared, Blade flicked the switch again and another rocket
flew out and blasted more of the creatures face.  Somehow, it still
survived.  "You just don't know when to die do you?" Blade muttered, "I
didn't want to use this, but you leave me no choice."

	He flicked a switch marked S.  A Surface-to-Air Stinger missle rose
from its compartment in the roof.  It launched and hit the beast.

	The beast blew up good.  The head was disintegrated from the force of
the missles explosive payload.  The rest of the body flew apart in a bloody
mess.  Blade got out of the vehicle and went over to Geronimo.  "Are you
all right?" he asked.

	"I'm fine," Geronimo replied, then pointed to the Senshi, the aliens
and Tuxedo Kamen, "but isn't this where we came in?"

	The two Warriors did quick checks on the others and from what they
could tell, they would all have some bruises, but would be fine.  A
hypothisis which was verified as they all came to as the Warriors placed
them into the SEAL.  "That's it," Blade said, "let's go Home."
