CHAPTER 13: THE FINAL BATTLE PART 1: THE FALL OF PRIMATOR

	Sailor Venus ran back into the room.  The image on Primators screen
had reverted back to the glowing red eyes.  "YOUR BACK I SEE," Primator
stated, "WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR GREEN SUITED FRIEND?"

	"She's with Mars," Venus replied, "who'll live.  Which is more than I
can say for you!"

	"DO YOU TRUTHFULY WISH TO TEST YOURSELF AGAINST ME?  VERY WELL THEN,
LET US BEGIN!"

	Venus extended her finger and concentrated.  Two creasent moons
formed on her finger and combined.  Then, she pointed her finger at Primator
and fired a blast on the command of, "CREASENT BEAM!"

	The amber colored beam struck Primators screen and bounced off.
Primator sighed and said, "I TOLD YOU BEFORE YOUR POWERS WOULD BE USELESS
AGAINST ME.  PERHAPS YOU WILL NOW KNOW THAT I WAS SIMPLY STATING FACTS
INSTEAD OF BOASTING.  UNLIKE YOU HUMANS, I DO NOT BOAST OR LIE OR BLUFF."

	During Primators tirade, Venus had fired several more bursts with the
same effect as the first.  "NOW," Primator said, "I WILL SHOW YOU WHAT A
REAL LASER BEAM LOOKS LIKE."

	The beam from somewhere in the ceiling above Primator fired and Venus
was hard pressed to avoid all the shots it rained down on her.

	Meanwhile across town........

	"WHAT?!?" Riki exclaimed, "Your telling me that you didn't think of a
way out of this?!?"

	Hickok just grinned sheepishly and Riki shook his head as he said, "I
can't believe that Blade made you head Warrior when he left to do that
Freedom Force thing."

	"Don't sweat it pard," Hickok replied, "I just got me an idea."

	"Tell me.  Quick."

	"You see that there new contraption that those two Supiriors are
bringin' over?"

	"Yes."

	Indeed he did, it was hard to miss.  It looked like a giant version
of a Gaskell Lazer, (let's call it a Gaskell Cannon) it was being pulled on a
giant pair of wheels.  "So?" Riki asked, "What does that thing have to do
with your plan?"

	"I'm gonna mosey out there and get 'em to shoot at me.  Then I'm
gonna move so they expose a gas line.  Then I'm gonna light all our dynamite
and blow this here whole block sky high."

	"You relize of course, that your plan is totaly insane.  The type of
thing that would only work in a book."

	"Yep.  I know that pard."

	"Then let me do the running part.  I'm faster then you are."

	"Okay, but be careful."

	"If I wanted to be careful, I would have never become a Warrior."

	Riki ran out from behind cover and shouted, "Over here you overgrown
Tin Woodsmen."

	Riki swearved left and right as the Gaskell Cannon started firing.
He saw humans and mutants looking at him in shock, and he thanked the Spirit
that the Supiriors did not allow the humans and mutants under their control
to use Gaskell Lazers.  He ran to the side of the road and stuck his tounge
out at the Supiriors manning the cannon.  The two of them fired the cannon
again and Riki jumped clear.  The ground he had occupied not a second
earlier vaporized and revield....  "I don't believe it," Riki thought, "this
is actually working."

	Hickok saw the exposed gas line and removed a stick of dynamite from
the pack.  He lit it and tossed it back into the pack.  He then stood up and
said as he threw the pack at the exposed gas line, "Time for one big BOOM!"

	He and Riki ran away as fast as possible and they heard someone say,
"Holy SHIT!  That lines about to blow!  RUN!!!"

	KA-BOOM!  The gas line exploded in a wall of flame that reached for
the heavens.  Several more explosions rang out as the line exploded both
ways down the street.  Anyone caught in its path was burnt beyond
recognition.  Buildings that the gas line was connected to also exploded.
The wall of flames began to catch up with the two Warriors.  "Maybe," Hickok
mussed aloud, "that wasn't such a bright idea after all."

	"We'll make it," Riki replied.

	"Sure.  Piece of cake."

	Back at the Prime Complex, but in the basement......

	Pluto staggered back and tried to ignore the fatigue that threatened
to overwhelm her.  She and the Mark 2 Supirior had been battling for a good
thrity minutes (or at least it FELT like thirty minutes) and Pluto had
recieved the worst of it.  Her left arm hung limply at her side, her right
eye was swolen shut, and she had a pronounced limp with her left leg.  "You
can not hold any hope for victory," P-001 stated, "You are human.  You tire,
I do not.  Even without your injuries, I could continue to battle longer
then you can."

	"Your underestimating the human spirit," Pluto replied, "shall be
your downfall."

	Anne continued to blast Supirior after Supirior after Supirior.
Eventually, perhaps inevitably, one got close enough to grab her.  Anne,
thinking that it was all over, was suprised when her womb let out its own
blast that destroyed the android touching her.  "Thank you my child," she
cooed.

	Back upstairs.............

	Venus dodged again and again as the laser continued to fire.  She
had finally been able to pin point the location of the lasers point of
origin.  She fired a Creasent Beam at that place.  A small explosion sounded
and a litte whisp of smoke curled out of the shadows.  "IMPRESSIVE,"
Primator said, "YOU HAVE DESTROYED MY PRIMARY LASER CANNON."

	Suddenly, laser beams shot out from different points of the room,
forming a web around Sailor Venus.  "HOWEVER, YOU HAVE NOT DESTROYED MY
LASER WEB.  THIS WEB IS DESIGNED TO START FAR APART AND GROW SMALLER AND
SMALLER, UNTIL IT EVENTUALLY BECOMES A NOOSE."

	"This is it," Venus thought, "it's now or never.  I have to smash
that screen.  Time to try something new."

	She concentrated and began her new attack.  At first it looked like
the Venus Love-Me Chain attack, but then the hearts of the chain broke into
seperate pieces and grew spikes.  Several of them went in Venus's hand and
she flung them forward with a cry of, "VENUS LOVE-ME STARS!!!"

	The stars flew forward and struck the screen.  At first they did
nothing, but then small cracks bagan to appear.  They grew larger and larger
until the screen burst apart.  The laser web however, continued to move
closer.  "AGAIN," Primator stated, "IMPRESSIVE.  YOU HAVE DESTROYED MY
SCREEN, BUT YOU HAVE NOT DESTROYED ME.  THE WEB GROWS NEARER, WHAT WILL YOU
DO NOW?"

	"Only going to have one chance at this," Venus thought, "So I better
make it good."

	Venus used all the speed and agility at her command to move through
the laser web to the shattered screen and ran inside the metalic guts of
Primator.  What she saw looked more like a factory then a computer.  What
suprised her most was that there was more then enough space for her to move 
around in.  "ONCE MORE," Primator said, "I MUST APPLAUDE YOUR SURVIVAL
SKILLS.  HOWEVER, DON'T EVEN BOTHER TRYING TO DESTROY ME BY BLASTING ME
APART PIECE BY PIECE.  I AM SELF REPAIRING, ANY DAMAGE YOU DO WILL BE FIXED
ALMOST INSTANTANIOUSLY BY MY INTERNAL REPAIR FACTORY."

	"Then I'll just have to take out your main power source.  OOOFF!"

	The "OOOFF" was because at that moment, a metal arm came down from
the ceiling and bashed Venus on the back of the head.  "DID I FORGET TO
MENTION," Primator said, "THAT THE SAME DEVICES WHICH KEEP ME IN REPAIR,
ALSO MAKE EFFECTIVE WEAPONS?"

	In the room right outside.....

	Jupiter was torn.  She didn't know what to do.  Should she stay with
Mars?  Should she go help Venus?  The blood flow had stopped and Mars would
fitfully groan ever now and then.  She had lost a good deal of blood and her
face was deathly pale.

	The decision was made for her as the door to a device marked
"McCammon Null Tube" opened and a squad of Supiriors armed with Gaskell
Lazers popped out.  Jupiter stood and said, "Don't even think about it.  I
won't let you hurt either of my friends.  SUPREME THUNDER DRAGON!!!"

	Back downstairs again.........

	Pluto fell over on the ground and rolled to avoid the boot that the
Mark 2 had planned to stomp on her back with.  The Mark 2 closed in and
said, "Logic dictates that you should surrender, but since most orginisms
are not logical I will not be disapointed if you don't."

	Pluto looked around quickly and saw that they were near the railing
next to the Time Adjuster.  A plan started to form that would take out two
birds with one stone.

	"It's time," Pluto thought, "to give this act the hook."

	She gripped the Time Rod and brought it around with all the strength
she could muster.  It hit the Mark 2 Supirior in the ankle and while it
didn't send P-001 flying, the Supirior did stumble to the side and he fell
over the railing with a detached, "Oh my."

	The M2S hit the satilite-like object on the end of the Time Adjuster
and P-001 jerked as a strong electrical current ran through him.  Pluto
grinned as she stood and said, "Also, never underestimate the power of an
upset victory.  Dead Scream."

	The ball of power rocketed toward the Time Adjuster and hit it with
a tremendous force.  It exploded and took the Mark 2 Supirior with it. 
Pluto looked around as she brushed the sweat off her brow and saw that Anne
had destroyed almost all the Supiriors that had accompanied P-001.

	Anne grabbed the last remaining Supirior by the throat and lifted it
into the air.  This Supirior had been badly damaged and large quantities of
clear fluid ran down to the floor.  "Tell me you overgrown hunk of tin," she
snarled, "Where is Ail?"

	"T-t-the," the Supirior replied," o-o-other b-b-being i-i-is i-i-in
N-N-New Y-Y-York."

	The Supirior "died" and Anne let go.  "New York," she whispered
hopefuly, "I will see him again."

	"Worry about that later," Pluto said as she ran over, "We still need
your help here.  We've got to go help the others."

	Anne nodded reluctantly and asked, "Who should we help first?"

	"Well, the Warriors are all alone against an entire city.  I think
they would probably apreciate the assistance more."

	Upstairs again.........

	Sailor Venus ducked and dodged the attacks of metal service arms,
whelding lasers, and other assortied repair devices as she moved through the
guts of Primator looking for one weak spot to exploit.  "You (yow)," she
yelled, "won't (yikes) stop (whoa) me!"

	"WE'LL SEE ABOUT THAT ORGANISM."

	Venus still couldn't find anything that looked like it would do the
job.  She began wishing that Mercury and her computer was with her.  Then
she saw it.  A glowing pillar of energy.  "That has got to be it," she
thought to herself.

	She charged up her energy again and shouted, "CREASENT BEAM SHOWER!!"

	The multiple beams slammed into the pillar and to Venus's suprise,
were absorbed.  "MMMMMMM!" Primator gloated, "PLASMA ENERGY.  MOST
REFRESHING, THANK YOU!"

	Venus tried again and this time threw in the Love-Me Chain and a few
Love-Me Stars.  They were all absorbed by the pillar.  She was getting
desperate, time to try something else new.  She put her right hand in front
of her, her palm facing the pillar and braced her right with her left.  She
focused every bit of energy she could call apon into her right hand.  The
amber energy made her right hand glow.  "COSMIC..." the glow intensified,
"CREASENT...." the energy focused into the middle of her palm, "CANNON!!!"

	The blast of energy from her palm hit the pillar.  At first it seemed
as if the result would be the same as the other attacks, but as time wore on
cracks bagan to appear in the pillar and a klaxon sound.  "STOP, YOU FOOL!"
Primator shouted, "I AM CONNECTED TO EVERYTHING IN THE PRIME COMPLEX!  IF
YOU DESTROY ME THEN THIS BUILDING WILL EXPLODE!"

	"At least," Venus replied, "I'll take you with me!"

	The cracks intensified and the pillar shook, "NO(bzzt)" Primator
almost seemed to whine, "IT CAN NO(crackle) en(zzzzttt) thi......."

	The pillar exploded, knocking Venus back.  She cut her cannon and
gasped for breath.  "We've got to get out of here," she thought.

	She stumbled back out to the sanctuary chamber and into the hall.
She saw Jupiter standing over a squad of fried Supiriors and a Sailor Mars
who was slowly comming to.  "What happened?" Mars groaned weakly, "Did I
miss anything important?"

	"Not much," Venus replied nonchalantly, "I just killed Primator and
Jupiter just fried some more Supiriors and now we've got to get out of here
before this place blows up."

	At that moment the building started to shake and a roar from
somewhere down below sounded.  "Let's try a Sailor Teleport," Jupiter
sugested.

	Jupiter and Venus linked hands with Mars inbetween them.  "SAILOR
TELEPORT!" they cried in unison.

	The three of them landed on the street a few blocks away from the
Prime Complex.  "Well," they heard a voice with a western twang to it say,
"looks like you little ladies made it too."

	The Sailors looked up and saw Hickok, Riki, Pluto, and Anne smiling
down at them.  "We did more than just 'make it'," Venus exclaimed happily,
"I killed Primator."

	"You sure about that?" Hickok asked.

	At that moment the Prime Complex exploded.  Like something out of the
movie Independence Day, the top floor exploded first and then the explosions
traveled all the way down to the first floor.  Venus replied with, "I'm
quite sure."

	Hickoks jaw dropped and Riki laughed as he said, "I think we've been
one uped."

	Jupiter and Mars hadn't seen the Prime Complex explode because they
were too busy gawking at the destruction that the Warriors had caused.  They
looked up at the them and Jupiter said in awe, "Man, when you say
distraction, you mean DISTRACTION!"

	A good portion of the city where the Warriors had come from was in
flames.  Periodicaly, explosions would rip up into the sky.  The Sailors
looked at the Warriors and Riki and Hickok had "who me?" looks on their
faces, then they pointed at each other.  "Who one uped who?" Mars quiped.

	Sailor Jupiter pulled out her comunicator and after hitting the "All
Call" button which Mercury had changed the frequency of, called the VTOL in
Northern Texas to come pick them up.

	"If you don't mind," Anne said, "I'll go to New York now.  I can't
wait to be reunited with my love again."

	"Go on ahead," Hickok said, "We're gonna have to hike a little to the
pick up site, but I don't reckon there's gonna be any trouble."

	Anne flashed away in a teleportation, a smile of pure joy creasing
her features.  They were free.

NEXT CHAPTER 14: THE FINAL BATTLE PART 2: ROCK THE GARDEN

VICTORY!  One group on the way home and one to go.  However, things aren't
going to end so well for the others.  They find the machine, but Ail and the
other Mark 2 Supirior find them and well.... chaos happens.  Also, a mutant
monster seems to have made the place the machine is stored in its home.
Finally, I'll warn you now that one of the group isn't going to live.
