That story confirmed something I'd noticed about BGC 'fic....  More often
than not, if Katsuhito Stingray's past is delved into, and new insight is
granted the reader, he turns out to be a monster more often than not (I've
only read one fanfic where he didn't, IIRC)

Yeah, that sort of runs in cycles. Earlier fics, if he was even mentioned,
he was The Martyr to The Cause. Now he's a 'monster'. I'm sure that,
eventually, people will start writing him as Just Misunderstood.

Not bad for someone who was on-screen for about 15 seconds <g>  (though his
influence spans the entire series)
