Well, why would the character need to be a descendant? Remember that
even Sasami is over 700 years old. Kagato was 5000. Given the tech level
of Tenchi, characters exceeding a couple of millineum old isn't that
bizarre. From the storyline, all you can tell is that Washu's child had
to precede the Kagato incident... that's only about 5-6 thousand years.
Given that Ayeaka's pushing about a thousand, that gives you a WIDE
range of majurity levels. If you do want to go the descendant route, it
probably wouldn't extend much more than a generation or two. Let's see,
a blonde child, possibly with grandchildren, in some sort high ranking
social status... Blonde, grandchildren, high rank possibly a Marshell
even... catching up with my train of thought? Or should it be derailed?
Nope, I do NOT subscribe to the 'Mihoshi is related to Washu' angle.
Sorry, nope, no way. Besides, a few things in the anime lead me to
believe her son is long dead - she says she 'had' a husband, and says 20k
years is a long time.
Also, I am under the impression that the Jurian/Washu-ian life span is
rather unusual. I think Mihoshi probably has a human-esque life span.
Besides, I'm only talking about 50 generations or so. That means a new
descendant every 400 years. Entirely possible, and more than a little
reasonable. Besides, I need it that way for a plot device.
And then there's always that evil theory about Washu and the Jurian
Emperor, notice his reaction to her <could have just been to what his
wife was doing, but you could SWEAR they know each other> THAT could be
intresting...
Well..I had this idea...what if the emperor and Washu's
great-great-...-great-grandson share a common ancestor - he's kin of the
emperor. VERY distant kin, but kin nonetheless. (I have this idea that
some random Jurian nobles are hot to have him marry their daughters...)
