If you need some space battles, how about (apart from the ever 
presents "Yamato" or "Arcadia") the task force from "Super Strike 
TA-29 Yohko Yamamoto"?

If you need some police force for checking on the most powerful 
characters, you can always include Morizaki & Natsuzawa from 
"Seigi". With their powers, they  should be more up to the task than 
the girls from "You're under arrest!".

Looking for someone super-powerful and silly? I know of a (kind of) 
person capable of spliting an earth-sized planet with a single karate 
hit: Arale Norimaki, from "Doctor Slump".

The troupe from "Compiler" could be a good add-on, but, with so many 
Jusenkyo-cursed people, water is always near...
