Chotto, mata... Eigo wa nan desu ka?!?

really do need the practice. ^_^)

May the heavens have mercy on you with kanji...

Say, I was wondering how you plan to learn kanji. As far as
I can think of, there is NO way you can become fluent in
kanji aside from totally immersing yourself in kanji and
memorizing each and every single character and all its
inherent meanings. I mean, if you're reading a manga,
how can you look up a character which you've never
seen before? There's certainly no way to look them up
in an alphabetized fashion.

What is the best way to go about it? I've pretty much
got the kanas covered, and the kanji is the real problem.
(aside from the language itself ^_^)

All I can think of is learning each and every single one
of them, and that's nigh impossible, I say! Even learning
the most common ones will take a long, long time of
intensive studying.

My penultimate goal will be to READ your fanfic in nihongo
and hopefully make sense of it.

My ultimate goal is to be able to watch original Japanese
anime without subtitles and make sense of it!
