I think the story about Akane's cooking coming to life and thinking that
Shampoo is its mother (due to her use of passion spice or something of that
sort) is called "Eight Days A Week" by Nigel M.  

I believe that at one point in the story, Ukyo described the critter as
looking like "a wild untamed okonomiyaki in pursuit of Shampoo".  ^_^
