that Urd was his _only_ mother, there wouldn't be any problem.

going that route, there are two possible options, ranma looks just he
always did, and the past stays preaty much the same. However once he makes
the wish, his goddess related abilites would become aparent, and Urd would
have new memories of the transfer. What she chooses to do about this new
situation, adopt ranma, try to pretend it never hapened, whatever.

The other route would have to be have ranma born to Nodoka, but for there
to be some clue about his true heritage. Goddess markings on his forhead
would be the easy way. This would tip genma off about who the true mother
was, although Nodoka might or might not guess. Whether or not genma would
tell ranma about who his true mother is would again be up to the author.

Either way, i think you'd want to try to leave as much of the past alone
as possible. if you decide to change everything about his past, you're
setting yourself the task of rewriting the entire series (not that some
poeple wouldn't be up to it =)


Hmm, interesting idea i just thought of, how when ranma first falls into
the spring, he comes out as a young girl, but with goddess marks on his
head, which go away when he turns to male form. Or they start showing up
in ranmas female form after he makes the wish.

In either case, this would give genma an aditional reason to keep Nodoka
from fiding out about his cursed form =)

it might also make ranma much more powerful, but only in his female form,
ala Herb (shes the one with the ashura curse, right?)

if i was better at writting, i'd want to takkle this one myself =)
