The notion of the Jusenkyo curse bringing immortality is interesting... and
it prompts the thought that it might merit exporation in terms of the
Mermaid Saga universe. Could it be possible the two curses are related?

Of course, I don't think this should happen within the confines of "Years
Away." It's too good short to tie down with such ponderous baggage. But it
is a thought.
