Seriously, I write whenever the mood strikes me. If I'm at home, I use a
simple text editor (Super Note Tab). If it's at work, it means that I write
on scrap xerox paper, and a clipboard. The backs of all my school notes for
last semester are covered in 'The Ballad of Ranma and Akane' parts one and
two.

All the first drafts of my writing is done by hand.  I find it more
difficult to start a story on the computer, for some strange reason. 
Then again, some could mention that I'm not precisely the fastest writer
in the world...

Most of this comes, though, from the fact that I do most of my best
writing in places where there are no computers -- coffeeshops,
lunchrooms, art history classes... My Shampoo Reunion's story was
written almost entirely in semi-dark during slide lectures about Tang
Chinese portraits.  And Ranma Monogatari is now being written during my
lunch hour at work.  I really don't have the opportunity to save my
writing for my computer time...
