Circumstantial evidence - Ranma can do the class work, even if

In the anime there was an episode where Ranma's handwriting was
shown to
be awful, however there was no suggestion that he didn't know his
kanji
characters, just that the way he wrote them was almost illegible.

In the anime "Faster, Kasumi, Kill, Kill", Ranma tries to write a
kanji to contain the demon, but misses a stroke. The spell is
ineffective. Says something about his kanje, doesn't it? ^_^

Aiya... are you sure? I think it was the priest who forgot the put
the stroke
on the kanji. I didn't remember Ranma writing it. Are you talking
about the
Japanese OAV, or the Viz-dubbed one? <I didn't think Viz would change
that...>
Anyway, Ranma seems to get by in his classes, so I doubt he has many
problems
in school. However, i've never seen or known of any episode in the
Anime, or of
any Manga chapter, that deals with how he does in school. Most fanfic
authors
seem to make Ranma an idiot with his school work, something I wonder
if there's
any backbone to.
