I think I can understand why people are using the designation spamfic,
 although I personally don't care for it.

I think, that the designation is coming from the fact that the ideas 
for these short stories are coming about due to threads on the FFML...
say, for example, Masuta Beito reads a SM lemon that's really gross, 
it gives him an idea, so he goes and writes a short lemon, and calls 
it a spamfic because that's how he got the idea. His idea gives Jakku 
Aafu an idea, who writes a spam lemon, and so forth and so on.

I'm not defending the idea of spamfics. I'm just offering a possible 
reason why they're referred to as such.
