Ryouko M. and Sheila are their universe's incarnations of a
certain other blue-haired battlesuit pilot and red-haired girl with
superhuman strength. I can't believe nobody's picked up on this yet.
I suspect that 'Poo
was telling the truth at least about her past (Davies, her revised
backstory was more than a little harsh), but was she truly lying about the
results of the fight? If so, why would she fool not only Ranma but her
poker buddies as well?
I'm not sure what you mean. Could you elaborate?
Yes, her backstory was intended to be EXTREMELY tragic. Too often
the only thing that authors have done with Shampoo's history was to reveal
that Mousse had actually beaten her in combat. I wanted to give her a
very good reason to be upset about her "husband" being a girl ... and to
eventually decide to give up on him when she learned that he wasn't going
to accept a cure if it came his way.
Hmm... Tenchi's life is going to be a _bit_ more intresting in the
wake of this (one is forced to wonder however, if Kei is unknowingly
contemplating incest ^_^).
Nonononononononononononononono. No.
Also, I would like to congratulate you on an interesting look at
the Lovely Angels, their curse, their rep, and what they really feel about
the above.
Too often, I think, when we see someone cry "AGGH! THE DIRTY
PAIR!", it's a comedic moment -- e.g. in Flight 005 Conspiracy, when the
air traffic controller reacts like that. Generally, we don't see people
literally panicking at their presence. I wondered, what if it never
stopped? What if everywhere they went, people screamed and ran?
It is also amusing to note that there are those whom the Dirty
Pair fear almost as much as the general populace fears them.
Well, it's hard to kill a legend ...
Mr Deacon's Fate: I assume the Rabbit of the Moon has picked up a
few tricks from She Who Died on the Moon? ^_-
Who?
