Remember the 'super soba' episode from the manga and anime...  Maybe
it'll help you a bit if you've read or seen it...

To refresh your memory it was when Akane had taken a bowl of ramen from
Happosai by mistake and ate it... The strength of whoever ate those
noodles multiplied tenfold...  I think you get the idea...
