Yep, Beboy, Chara, June and Wings are quite easy to find... Actually, Wings
isn't really just a Yaoi mag- more like shoujo w/usually some element of
yaoi.. Earthian and RG Veda ran in it, so...

Well, what I meant by not showing everything was that usually, there is
suggestions of the physical penis, but usually there is either the 'glowing
cone' (=P As one coined it...) or invisible air... Well, in some, anyway.
But nothing really anatomically correct... 
Maybe it's the ones I look at... *sigh* ^^

Or maybe the issues I found were just stronger than usual. But they were 
anatomically correct except for invisible pubic hair. Dreamy, but 
explicit. Think anatomically correct penis, lavishly illustrated with 
outrageous amounts of sperm, and his lover's mouth in the top right, 
drawing away, open and dripping. And in a previous frame, a complete shot 
of his groin area, and his lover's face, mouth full, actively sucking. No 
invisible lines except for blank hair. I think there was even a 
suggestion of testicles under the blank space hair.
(woo baby! And I thought I wasn't interested in yaoi <grin>)

Well, the fluid part is usual... lots and lots, (beyond realism, actually
^^) but the anatomically correct penis isn't usually shown directly- being
in mouth or covered by partner is ok, but.. ^^

Anyway, perhaps the issue you found were just stronger...

And yes, they are intended for teens, and older- BeBoy, Chara, Wings and
such all feature a mix that would appeal to both teens and OLs, methinks...

So are the ecchi for teenagers completely acceptable or is it a 'look the 
other way' sort of thing for the Japanese public? There were ecchi manga 
in corner stores, but I never looked at who was buying them to tell. 
Perhaps the girls quietly go to shoujo-specialty stores to buy them (! 
that would explain why I didn't see much yaoi !) and the boys, if they 
have the nerve, buy them from regular corner stores. I wonder what ages 
are acceptable for what. After all, this is also the country where there 
was a parents' protest over a bellybutton, even if it was for small 
children (story from an faq somewhere).

Well, if Beboy et al are in Kinokuniya or Asahiya's mag. section, then it's
probably just accepted... after all, it is manga. Not taken too seriously,
but seen just as diversion- you see salarymen reading SJump, or such, so...
