Hmm, this is 'fic writing at its best.  I too have always wondered
about those odd moments, like during "Dim Sum Darling" when
Akane realizes that it wasn't entirely Ranma's fault for 
glomping her.  Or the following episode when he chides her
for not believing him when he got to the resort.  I have a feelihg
that Takahashi-san intentionally ended Ranma Nibunnoichi the way
she did because it wouldn't be realistic for two teenagers to 
marry right away.  Still, I'd like to see a real *sanctioned* 
continuation of the story that starts after they've graduated
college.  DnR is nice, but it's still not canon.

Actually, I cherish the thought that there is a huge stack of notes
somewhere written by Takahashi-san for stories that never got done because
she wanted to move on to another series. Rather like the legendary stack of
unproduced Star Trek (the original series) scripts that never got produced
because the series ended too soon. Sure, they may not exist, but it's fun to
speculate. BTW, what do you mean when you say, "sanctioned"?
