This is my first attempt at a fanfic so I could use all the criticism I
could get. First of all, I'm not a very good speller, but I did go through
with a spellchecker, though it might have missed grammar mistakes other
than the ones I ment to put in. One of my biggest concers is any cultural
errors I might have made. Please inform me of anything that might make my
story more believeable. Wait. This is Ranma. More believeable as a Ranma
story then.

Episode 7: Vacation. The Guys Go Camping.

[Yet another morning hit Nerima. It is an extremely energetic day and
everyone is up early. Kasumi has breakfast ready and everyone begins
eating.]

Tazuki: Strange energy in the air this morning.

Genma: Yes. It's kind of relaxing in a way.

Soun: All is perfect in the world this morning.

[Chris leans over to Toma.]

Chris: 500 Yen says it doesn't last for five minutes.

Toma: Actually, I don't think it'll last five seconds.

[Toma points at the doorway as a P-Chan comes running through with Ranma
closely behind.]

Ranma: Get back here, you idiot! When I catch you, I'm going to make bacon
from your hide.

[They run out of the room.]

Akane: Ranma! Leave him alone!

[Akane runs after them. Chris and Toma look at each other.]

Toma: Should we...?

Chris: Right.

[They get up and follow.]

Soun: Yes. All is quiet and normal.

[Ranma is chasing P-Chan down the street. Every once and a while, P-Chan
turns around and taunts Ranma. Akane is closely behind Ranma and swinging
her shinai at him. Toma and Chris are following at a distance.]

Toma: What's the plan?

Chris: You're faster than me, so you try and grab Ryo-- P-Chan and I'll
try to stop Akane from pounding Ranma.

Toma: Alright. Meet you back at the Tendo's then.

Chris: Right.

[Toma turns off into an alley and leaves Chris to catch up to Akane. A
mile and several ruined walls later, Toma arrives at his destination before
the others. He waits in a side alley for them to come around the corner.
Sure enough, they do. As soon as P-Chan is next to the alley, Toma acts.]

Toma: Patto Grab!

[P-Chan suddenly disappears and reappears in Toma's arms as Toma reappears
in the alley on the other side of the road and begins to run back to the
Tendo home. Neither Ranma nor Akane see Toma grab P-Chan and run off.
Ranma stops suddenly and Akane also plows into him before she can stop
herself.]

Ranma: What the...?

Akane: He disappeared!

[Chris is to busy concentrating on running to notice Ranma and Akane have
stopped. He plows into both of them and knocks all of them to the ground.]

Chris: Sorry.

[They all stand up again. Akane smacks Ranma on the back of the head with
her hand.]

Ranma: Ow! What was that for? I didn't touch the pig.

Akane: That was for causing Chris to run into us. This is for chasing
P-Chan.

[Akane rises her shinai and prepares to strike. Chris steps between them.]

Chris: Woah, wait, hold on a moment. The pig's fine. Toma grabbed him and
took him back home. Now there's nothing to hit Ranma for anymore.

Akane: [Still gripping the shinai] That doesn't make it OK to pick on
P-Chan.

Chris: No. But because nothing actually happened, does that make it OK to
hit Ranma?

Akane: No. I guess not.

[Akane lowers the shinai.]

Chris: Good. Now, why don't you go home and get some breakfast. I want to
talk to Ranma fora sec.

Akane: OK. And...thanks, Chris.

[Akane walks off, leaving Ranma and Chris alone. Chris turns to Ranma and
smacks him on the back of the head.]

Ranma: Ow. Hey, didn't you just say that it's not OK to hit me?

Chris: What is wrong with you? Why were you chasing Ryoga?

Ranma: I wasn't chasing Ryoga. I--

Chris: I know about Ryoga and P-Chan.

Ranma: Oh. I don't know. I guess I just don't like him sleeping with
Akane.

Chris: What?! Ryoga sleeps with Akane?

Ranma: Not Ryoga; P-Chan.

Chris: Oh... So, you're jealous?

Ranma: [Getting defensive] I ain't jealous.

Chris: [Sarcastically] Right. Come on, lets get back.

Ranma: Alright. Just as long as you understand that I'm not jealous. I'[m
not. Not at all. Not one bit. No way am I jealous of that stupid,
sneaky, perverted pig.

Chris: [Sarcastically with a bit of amusement.] Right. Come on already.

[Everyone meets back at the Tendo home and eats a quiet dinner. Ranma
never looks up from his meal for fear of meeting Akane's gaze, which he can
feel boring into his head anyway. After breakfast, Akane leaves with
P-Chan. Chris, Nabiki, and Kasumi leave also. After a few minutes, Ranma
turns to Toma.]

Ranma: Hey, Toma.

Toma: Hmm?

Ranma: I was wondering if you have some spare time today.

Toma: For what?

Ranma: Well, that technique of yours works real well, and I was wondering
if you might be able to teach it to me...

Toma: Well, I'm not sure if--

[Soun is suddenly next to both of them.]

Soun: What a great idea. A training trip is what we need.

Ranma: Training?

Toma: Trip?

Soun: Yes. Why we can all go and maybe learn a few new techniques.

Genma: Wonderful plan.

Tazuki: Brilliant.

Soun: Then it's settled. We leave within the hour.

[Soun, Genma, and Tazuki leave to pack. Chris enters during Soun's last
words.]

Chris: What's settled?

Toma: A training trip.

Ranma: Now.

Chris: Now? So suddenly?

Toma: Might as well. What else were we going to do today?

Chris: Nothing. OK. I'll go pack. For how many days?

Toma: Not sure. Probably won't be for more that a couple of days at most.

[An hour later everyone has finished packing. Soun, Genma, Tazuki, Ranma,
Toma, and Chris all stand outside the gate. Akane, Nabiki, and Kasumi wait
just inside the gate and wave goodbye. Soun is crying.]

Kasumi: Be careful.

Soun: Are you sure you girls will be alright?

Akane: Don't worry, dad. We'll be fine.

Chris: By the way, where are we going?

Toma: Not sure.

Chris: OK. How are we going to get there?

Toma: Walk? Maybe we could follow Ryoga and he could take us to some far
off woods.

Chris: That's not funny.

[Chris remembers back to when he was lost with Ryoga. One time they were
lost in some woods just after they left Egypt. He still has cuts from all
the thorns and branches.]

Toma: Sorry. It's just hard to believe what he can do. If there was some
way to control that power, he could solve the world's transportation
problems.

[Soun is finished crying and ready to leave. The girls close the gate as
they leave.]

Genma: Alright, Tendo. Where to?

Soun: [Points] Follow the sun. We're bound to find a good place to train
our boys.

Toma: I'm not your son.

Soun: Well, you will be by marriage. Let's go.

[Soun begins walking off followed by Genma and Tazuki. Toma starts to say
something, buy Chris puts his hand on Toma's shoulder and shakes his head.]

[Another hour later, the guys are long since gone and the girls are
planning a party.]

Kasumi: Are you sure we should do this with father gone?

Nabiki: [Taking her ear away from the phone] Don't worry. We'll be able
to clean everything up before they get back tomorrow. [Back on the phone]
OK. So, you'll be here at 6? Great. Don't forget to bring Sayuri. [Hangs
up]

Kasumi: I'm still not sure...

Nabiki: Come on, Sis. How often is it we girls have the house all to
ourselves. I think we're long overdue for some fun. Hey, Akane! Where's
that banner?

[Akane comes running holding a large paper banner with the words, "Martial
Arts Slumber Party. Girls Only." hastily painted on in red letters.]

Nabiki: Perfect. Go hang that up outside.

Akane: This is going to be fun.

[Akane rushes out to hang the banner above the gate.]

Nabiki: Sis, you'll make some hors d'oeuvres, won't you?

Kasumi: Alright. Mind if I invite a couple of people?

Nabiki: Who?

Kasumi: Just some nice girls I met before.

Nabiki: Sure. That'll be find. I'll go make sure the dojo is ready.

[Some time later, the men have moved into the woods and have stopped at a
large clearing. Three tents are set up and a fire started as the sun
begins to set.]

Genma: Hmm... To late to start any training tonight. We'll have to get up
early tomorrow. You can afford to miss a day of school, can't you boy?

Ranma: Well... Except for P.E., I haven't really been doing that...

Genma: Of course you can. You're my boy. Us Saotomes are world class
scholars.

Ranma: Whatever...

Soun: Toma would you be kind enough to start dinner for us?

Toma: Oh, so that's why you brought me along?

Chris: Remember Toma: A blind man takes what he is given, but a wise man
examines it first.

Toma: What?!

Chris: I don't know.

[Toma sighs and rests his forehead in his hand. After a moment he gets up
and begins dinner.]

[The sun has set at the Tendo home and guests have begun to arrive.
Several girls from Akane and Nabiki's classes have arrived. Ukyo and Nora
are there too.]

Akane: Glad you could make it.

Ukyo: I'm kind of surprised that you invited me.

Akane: Well... Ranma's not around, so...

[Ukyo nods in understanding.]

Nora: Why did you invite me?

Akane: Just thought it would be a nice gesture. After all, if you're
anything like some of the other girls I know, you haven't given up on Toma
yet, so we'll probably be seeing more of you anyway.

Nora: Noted.

[Nora begins looking around and enters the dojo.]

Ukyo: What's with her? And, who's Toma?

Akane: I'll explain later.

[Nabiki greets Yuka and Sayuri at the gate.]

Yuka: What's this all about?

Sayuri: Martial Art Slumber Party?

Nabiki: Are you girls ready for an exciting night?

Yuka: What do you have planned, Nabiki?

Nabiki: That will have to wait until later. Now, almost all the guests
have arrived, except the two Kasumi invited. We need to get inside and
find a safe place for tonight. Are you ready, and did you bring the things
I asked?

[Both girls lift their bags in acknowledgment. Nabiki takes them inside.
Outside, a shadow waits in the trees.]

[The guys have finished Toma's dinner and have begun a little practicing in
the firelight. Toma is trying to teach Ranma the Patto Ken. Soun, Genma,
and Soun have gone to get water.]

Toma: Now, when I learned this technique, it was to grab fruit of a tree
near the village. There is a tree there that bears peaches, which is odd
for that climate. It's the only tree in the area, but its fruit hangs over
a hundred foot chasm. Luckily the chasm is only ten feet wide. [Toma draws
two lines in the dirt ten feet from each other] In order to grab this
fruit, you must be very fast.

Chris: Couldn't you just run and jump across and grab the fruit?

Toma: Fine. Ruin the effect.

Chris: Sorry. But, wouldn't you be hurt if you failed and didn't make it
across?

Toma: Yes. That's why you have to learn it very quickly back at the
village. But here is easier. Although, it's the danger that makes
learning it so easy. I doubt I could teach it in one night. If only we
had a real chasm.

[Elsewhere in the woods...]

Ryoga: [In a half crying voice] Now where am I?

[The party is going well. There are 18 girls there with two more yet to
arrive.]

Nabiki: Kasumi. When are to two you invited due to arrive?

Kasumi: They should be here soon.

[Suddenly, Shampoo comes crashing through a wall. One of the girls near
there scatters.]

Shampoo: Kasumi. I here.

Nabiki: She is one of the people you invited?

Kasumi: Is that alright?

Nabiki: Well, I'm not the one that has a problem with her. [Glances over
at Akane and Ukyo] Can't wait to see who else you invited.

Kasumi: Just Kodachi Kuno.

[Nabiki puts her hand to her face and sighs.]

Nabiki: We've got to work on you, Sis.

[Shampoo walks over to Akane and Ukyo.]

Akane: [Coldly] Shampoo...

Shampoo: I here because Kasumi invite Shampoo. I no fight you tonight.

Akane: [A little shocked] Uh? Alright.

[Shampoo moves over to the punch bowl and a couple of girls move out ov her
way.]

Ukyo: Kasumi invited her?

Akane: I guess so...

[Ryoga sees light and enters the clearing.]

Ryoga: Where is the Tendo dojo? Huh?!

[Toma, Chris, and Ranma look up.]

Ryoga: What are you doing here?

Chris: Shouldn't we ask you? We're training.

Toma: How did...?

Ryoga: Training? [Notices Ranma go back to practicing] (Ranma's trying to
learn a new technique. He must be. Something he can use to humiliate me
in front of Akane again. I can't allow it!) You can't--!

Toma: Care to join us?

Ryoga: Huh?

Toma: I said, "care to join us?" I'm trying to teach Ranma the Patto Ken.
Would you like me to teach you too?

Ryoga: Sure...

[The party is going well. Nabiki has her stereo in the dojo and most of
the girls are dancing. Kasumi is maintaining the snack table and Akane is
telling Ukyo about Toma and Nora.]

Ukyo: So, she sees Kasumi as an obstacle?

Akane: Yeah. I just hope she doesn't try anything tonight.

Ukyo: Don't worry. [Pulls out her large spatula] I'll help stop her.

Akane: Thank's, Ukyo. You know, if it weren't for Ranma, I'm sure we could
be the best of friends.

Ukyo: Same here, Sugar.

[In another part of the room, Shampoo and Nora are talking.]

Shampoo: So, Nora come from China too?

Nora: Yes. I believe I've heard of the Joketsuzoku you speak of.

Shampoo: Yes. Is small village, but it home to Shampoo.

Nora: Probably have a lot of laws that force you to marry or something.

Shampoo: Yes, something.

Nora: Stupid tribal laws.

Shampoo: Not all bad. Because of laws, I find Ranma.

Nora: Ranma? I met Ranma. He lives here, doesn't he?

Shampoo: Yes. This house of devil girl, Akane Tendo.

Nora: Hmm. Maybe you might know a Toma that lives here too?

Shampoo: Toma? He my cousin.

Nora: Cousin? He's part of your tribe?

Shampoo: He part tribe member. His mother tribe member and Shampoo's
aunt.

Nora: Hmm. Is there any tribal law that would allow me to marry him?

Shampoo: Hmm... Well, he could defeat your suitor.

Nora: My suitor?

Shampoo: [Nods] Tribal women love strong man. If man prove to be
stronger, then women usually marry. It not force him, but not often
outsider girl want to marry man from tribe. I have to ask
great-grandmother about that. You stop by tomorrow and see?

Nora: Wouldn't miss it. (Hmm. I wonder if that works both ways. If I
defeat Kasumi, would he have to or want to marry me?)

[Nora is brought out of her thoughts by an assault of black rose petals and
laughter. Kodachi stands in the doorway.]

[Toma explains the training to Ryoga.]

Toma: If only we had a chasm to practice at.

Ryoga: That's all? Easy enough. Bakusai Tenketsu!!!

[Ryoga strikes the ground with his finger in serval places and the ground
explodes. As the dirt clears the air, the four find themselves looking
down a large chasm.]

Toma: That'll do. Where did you learn the Bakusai Tenketsu? Do you know
my great- grandmother, Cologne?

Ryoga: Great-grandmother?

Toma: Forget it. That's definitely her training style. Since you made
the chasm, would you like to go first?

Ryoga: Sure. What do I do?

[Toma takes a branch on the ground. He looks around for a second and then
at Ryoga.]

Toma: Can I borrow your bandana for this?

Ryoga: [Grin] Sure.

[Ryoga takes off his bandana and hands it to Toma. Toma notices that there
is another bandana on Ryoga's head.]

Toma: How did...?

Ranma: Forget it. I had the school's physics club up for a week trying to
figure it out.

Toma: What did they come up with?

Ranma: That's it's not real and that everyone imagines the bandana, even
when he throws it.

Toma: Why would you throw a bandana?

Ryoga: A weapon of course.

Toma: Oh come on. How much could a bandana hurt?

[Ryoga takes off another bandana and begins twirling it around. He
releases it and it flies through the air and cuts off a large limb of a
tree. Toma watches the limb crash to the ground and then looks back at
Ryoga. He starts to open his mouth but thinks better of it and proceeds to
tie the bandana he has around the end of the branch. He then the branch
into the dirt so it hangs over the edge.]

Toma: OK. Follow what I do. Patto Ken!

[Toma reappears on the other side of the chasm, holding the bandana. He
then executes the move again and is back on the first side with the bandana
back on the branch.]

Ryoga: Amazing...

Toma: You're turn.

Ryoga: Simple. Patto Ke--Woah! AAAAAAAA!

[Ryoga goes tumbling down his own chasm. The three peer over the edge but
see no sign of Ryoga in the darkness.]

Toma: This may take a while. Ranma, you're next.

[Kodachi walks into the dojo. In her hand in a large tuperware bowl.]

Kasumi: I thank you for coming.

Kodachi: To spend the night with my darling Ranma. I would not miss it.

Kasumi: I'm sorry. You must have misunderstood. This is a girls only
party. Ranma's not here.

Kodachi: Girls only? That retched pig-tailed girl isn't here?

Kasumi: I just said that Ranma isn't here.

Kodachi: [Eyes Kasumi] Fine. Since you would have me, I'll stay. Here.
[Hands Kasumi the bowl] It's Jell-O.

Kasumi: Thank you.

[Kasumi takes the bowl and puts it on the snack table. A couple of girls
go to try some but Ukyo blocks their way with her spatula.]

Ukyo: Careful. It may be poisoned.

[The girls step back quickly.]

Kodachi: So, what does one do at a... slumber party?

Nabiki: [Shocked] You've never been to a slumber party?

Kodachi: Should I have?

Nabiki: Uh... No. No reason to have. First, you usually give a
donation to the hostess, me.

[Kodachi reaches for her money.]

Nabiki: (This is too easy.)

[Some time later at the party, everything is going fine. Shampoo and Nora
seem to be quickly becoming friends. Akane and Ukyo are talking with a few
other girls while customarily braiding their hair. Even Kodachi is
beginning to mingle with the crowd. Nabiki is with Yuka and Sayuri,
counting the money she has procured from Kodachi so far.]

Sayuri: Doesn't look like anything is going to happen.

Nabiki: Never fear, girls. I always come through. Care to place any
bets on who will make the first move?

Yuka: Not against you.

[Nabiki grins and turns back to the party.]

Nabiki: Hand me to fake photos of Ranma. Lets get this party going.

[Ryoga finally manages to crawl out of the chasm. Ranma has begun to learn
the technique, but can only move himself about a foot, right over the edge
of the chasm. Luckily, each time, Toma caught Ranma.]

Toma: Ryoga! You're back.

Ryoga: Finally. Oh, and I met someone on the way up.

Toma: Met someone?

Chris: Who would you meet in a chasm?

[Ryoga hefts a young man over the edge of the cliff and proceeds to climb
out himself. The man is about the same age as Chris and Toma. He has
unkempt, green hair and is wearing a blue tee-shirt with purple Bermuda
shorts. As everyone watches, the man wakes up. He quickly sits up.]

Man: Where...? Where am I?

Toma: You're here. I'm still not sure where exactly we are though.

Man: What's going on?

Toma: Yeah, Ryoga. What is going on? Where did you find this guy?

Ryoga: I don't know. I guess I got a little lost when climbing and found
him in a clearing.

Ranma: There are no clearings down there.

Ryoga: Shut up.

Toma: [Sigh] Alright, where do you last remember being?

Man: I was in China--

Toma: China?! [Looks over at Ryoga] You went to China in thirty minutes?

[Ryoga looks at the ground.]

Man: What happened to the cannibals?

Toma: Cannibals?

Man: Yes. Nissan and his tribe. They were chasing me. I guess I passed
out from running and woke up here.

Toma: Well, here is Japan, so I don't think they've followed you.

Man: Japan?

Toma: Yes. I'm sorry, I'm Toma. This is Ranma, Chris, and Ryoga somehow
brought you here.

Man: Oh. I'm Isaru Ishida.

Toma: You look like you've had a rough day. Why don't I get you some cold
water.

Isaru: Dear God, no!

All: Hmm?

Isaru: I'm sorry. It's just... I've recently developed a fear of cold
water.

Toma: How come?

Isaru: You might not believe me, but... I change into a lizard when I'm
wet!

[Everyone just stares calmly at him.]

Toma: So?

Isaru: [Blinks] You're not shocked?

Ranma: Welcome to the club.

Toma: Oddly enough, all of us are cursed.

Isaru: You mean you were all captured by the Auto tribe?

Chris: Auto tribe? No, we went to Jusenkyo. Isn't that where you got your
curse?

Isaru: No. I was traveling in China, see I like to hike, and was captured
by these half-naked tribes men...

[Isaru is watching the sky as he is walking along. A map is in one hand
and a walking stick in the other. It is a beautiful day and Isaru is
whistling softly to himself as he makes his way down the narrow trail he
discovered. Suddenly, a net is dropped over him and several half-naked,
bronze skinned men grab him. He is taken to a small village with a sign
that reads, "The Auto Tribe. Population: 23. Leader: Nissan," and hung
up. A short man walks up and examines Isaru. He nods and several men take
Isaru and tie his to a pole and hang him over some wood. Another man brigs
out brings a lit torch and prepares to throw it on the wood. Several men
also appear holding buckets of water. The short man signals and one of the
men throws some water at Isaru, who proceeds to turn into a large iguana.
He easily slips free of his bonds and begins to run off. All the members
of the tribe begin chasing him. Isaru easily avoids the grasping hands of
the tribe members. He runs past two who a boiling something in a cauldron.
They tip the cauldron over and the water hits Isaru and turns him back to
human. He stops for a second to stare at his hands, but is soon running
for his life as the tribe begins to catch up. The leader leaps at Isaru,
who spins around, catches Nissan, blocks the incoming water from another
tribe members, and drops the resulting chicken. Isaru reaches the trees
and quickly turns to see how close they are. He stops because the tribe is
gathering around their feathery leader. They are mumbling to each other,
but sone one words is chanted on all of their lips: Chicken! The tribe
then begins to try and grab their leader. Nissan spies Isaru at the forest
edge and begins clucking his way over as fast as he can. The tribe is
close behind and trying to grab their leader. Isaru runs into the forest
and after a while is overcome with exhaustion.]

Isaru: And then I was here.

Toma: Interesting story.

Ryoga: You mean I was near Jusenkyo? Argh!

Toma: Well, I don't think they could have followed you here. What now?

Isaru: I'm not sure. I don't have any family or friends. I don't even
have a home. I've spent my life traveling, I doubt my manager has kept my
apartment for me.

Toma: Well, I'd offer for you to stay with me, but--

[Isaru grabs Toma's hands.]

Isaru: You mean it?

Toma: Uh...

Isaru: That's great. Thank you.

[Toma stands dumbfounded as Isaru violently shakes his hands.]

Kodachi: My Darling Ranma in the arms of that... That... Wicked
temptress?!?

[Nabiki is holding up a picture of Ranma in Ukyo's arms. It is obviously a
fake picture by the fact that Sayuri's face and hair can be seen underneath
a wig to make her look like Ranma, and Ukyo is obviously Yuka. These
obvious mistakes are not so obvious to Kodachi. Nabiki has already handed
similar pictures of Ranma/Sayuri with Shampoo/Yuka and Kodachi/Yuka to Ukyo
and Shampoo. Nabiki then leaves a simmering Kodachi alone and rejoins
Sayuri and Yuka.]

Sayuri: Is it ready?

Nabiki: Any time girls. You two go and collect the bets.

[A while later, Ukyo, Shampoo, and Kodachi and eyeing each other. The two
girls return with the bets. Most of the girls have bet on Shampoo.]

Nabiki: If Shampoo loses, we're all going to be rich. Oh! [slaps the
bottom of her fist in her open hand] We should have allowed bets on who
would start the fight.

Yuka: Looks like it's going to be Shampoo.

[Yuka points at Shampoo, who is currently making her way to Kodachi.]

Nabiki: Here we go, Girls.

[All the guys have already gone to sleep, except Toma. Toma decided to
allow Isaru to sleep in Soun's tent while he watched the fire. Toma pokes
at the fire a few times and then walks to the edge of the clearing. With
one leap he is up in the trees. He rests on a branch with his back against
the trunk.]

Toma: Looks like I've done it again. Why do these things keep happening
to me? Maybe I should ask dad. Yes. When we get back tomorrow morning,
I'll go see my family.

[Shampoo and Kodachi are currently circling each other. Hatred flows
between the two like electricity. Shampoo is the first to lash out with
her bonbori. Kodachi dodges and whips out her ribbon. Shampoo dodges
this, but Kodachi soon begins throwing pins at her. Shampoo begins dodging
Kodachi's attacks all around the room. Girls scatter whenever the two
combatants comes close.]

Ukyo: What the...?

Akane: Huh?

[Ukyo was immediately suspicious of the picture Nabiki gave her. It's not
often that Nabiki will do something like that for free. Naturally, she
shared the photo with Akane, who almost went berserk until Ukyo explained
where she got it from.]

Akane: Nabiki!

Nabiki: Uh oh, girls. Looks like this event might be a little shorter
than planned. Lets go.

Sayuri: But, we don't have a winner yet.

[Just then, Shampoo and Kodachi charge each other... And accidently bang
their heads together and pass out.]

Nabiki: There. Ukyo wins. We'll pass out the winnings tomorrow.

[Nabiki, Sayuri, and Yuka run out of the dojo. Akane starts to give chase,
but decides otherwise. Instead she and Ukyo go over to the comatose bodies
of Shampoo and Kodachi.]

Akane: [Sigh] I'll get Kodachi if you can take Shampoo home.

Ukyo: Right.

[Each takes a girl and leaves.]

[The next morning, the guys awake to the sun. Soun is a bit surprised to
find Isaru in his tent. Chris wakes Toma, who is still in the tree. He
doesn't stay there for long.]

Chris: Toma!

Toma: Huh? What? Woah!

[Toma plummets to the ground. He sits up and holds a hand to where his
head met the ground.]

Toma: Ow. 'Morning, Chris.

Chris: Come on. Let's go.

Toma: Right. Time to go home...

[They pack up and leave the clearing. A short while later, a man and woman
come out of the forest. The man is talking to the woman and not quite
watching where he is going.]

Man: I'm telling you, this is the perfect place. I've come here a lot
with friends. It's a natural clearing that has been undisturbed for
over--AAAA!

[The man nearly falls into Ryoga Ravine. The woman catches him before he
falls.]

Man: That's funny. I thought this was the place.

Woman: [Upset] You mean we're lost.

Man: What? Oh, no! No, we're not lost. It's got to be around here
somewhere. We'll just keep looking until we find it.

[The two were found a week later half-starved.]
