So my question is this:
What do you do to get in the mood for Fanfic Writing?
Heh, well, my stories more-or-less write themselves. An idea gets into
my head and bounces around for a while. At that point, one of two
things happens: it either whithers away, or reaches critical mass and
needs to be written.
The only time I tried to force the process was when I wrote "The Missing
Ingredient". It didn't work, and I eventually abanoned it after a
several rewrites failed to improve it.
Think about it before you answer, you may even want to get in the
mood before writing the response. The various answers we get may
enlighten you, astound you, or maybe even inspire you.
Well, I'm not sure about *that*. There's nothing astounding or
inspiring in my method - just write until the little muses (demons?) in
your head leave you alone. :)
