more than capable of defending himself.  Sure, he kidnapped Akane and 
tried to turn Ranma into a duck; what's so bad about that?  ^^;; Okay, 
it is pretty creepy; but others have done similar if not worse things, 
and besides it's not the same as trying to kill someone.

Actually Mousse kidnapped Akane to try and blackmail Ranma and tried to 
turn *Akane* into a duck as part of the plot.  This gives Mousse the 
unique distinction of being the only Ranma 1/2 character who is shown to 
be willing to cause harm to an innocent unconnected with their fight.

Even Shampoo at her worst only ever targets those who have challenged 
(even if they don't realise it) her.  The only other character to show 
similar disregard for innocent bystanders is Kodachi, and that manifests 
itself in her willingness to "win" her competitions by default.

	If you don't like Mousse, I can live with it.  But it seems like 
every chance you get you go on and on about what a jerk he is.  This is 
Ranma 1/2.  All these characters, jerks though they may be, are still 
dear to my heart.  People, let's stop the hate!

Probably a reaction to all the people who go on about how the stupid duck 
deserves success with Shampoo.
