there are 38 volumes of Ranma manga tankoubans.

Quite frankly, I worry about people who analyse the manga to get all the
examples they need to back everything up. It's... it's like they're missing
the forest from staring at a leaf. Whatever happened to taking the spirit
of things? If you analyse the characters of Ranma carefully, you'll probably
end up with reasons to hate them all. Ranma's ego and insults. Akane's
unfair violence. Kasumi's annoying obliviousness. Nabiki's mercenary
streak. Ryouga's unwillingness to forgive and his temper. Ukyou's Ranma
obsession. Shampoo's violence and attitude to Mousse. Mousses attitude
to Shampoo, and his desire to kill Ranma. Cologne's interference.
Happosai. Kodachi. Kunou. Genma.

I don't hate any of them, and they all have reasons I could, if I relied
on every example of their bad points. It's just not worth getting riled 
about people. Please, this Akane thing has already been debated to death 
on RAAF. Let's not start it here too. Please? Ok? Good.
