OK, it's by an "anonymous author" - my suspicions later on - and
it's part of Converging Series, so...

PUBLIC C&C!!!

Appearances would not be the fic I would choose first to appear in
CS, but maybe that's the point.  (At this rate, I expect Sour Times
to be resolved there.)

The story was well written; the sparse style worked very well.  In
particular, Akane's reactions were very well done.

Of course, the big question is, was the right Kasumi killed?  Let's
hope it's the cookie Kasumi there.

Now, my suspicions as to who wrote it, in random order:

1) RpM.  Yeah, right, posting for someone else my ass.  Sure, it's 
got very few spelling mistakes, which threw me off the track, but 
the title is misspelled, and furthermore, there's an anwyays.  I'd
recognise that anyways anywhere.

2) Chris Willmore.  Well, look at it.

3) Tim Miller.  My primary suspicion.  We know the Shuriken Cycle
is going to be in it, but we don't know when.  And of all the
series, this is the Kasumi most likely to appear doing this.  A
bit of foreshadowing, perhaps?

4) another series they're keeping under their hat.  Though I hate
it when they do this.  <taps foot>  It's Split Personalities, 
right? ;-)

5) Mihoshi.  Dark, twisted, of course it's her.  Umm...kidding?
Please, no, put down that mallet!
