It is time... After weeks of planning and revising, I've finally decided to
post the whole chapter 7 of "Before & After" once and for all. Yes, I know
I've posted the first part already but I figure that it'll be better if I
just give the WHOLE package to you guys. Yes, you people will be getting
the full package, the whole banquet, with all the seasonings *evil grin*. I
have to warn you though, the SECOND PART of Ch 7 has SLASH/YAOI in it. Got
it? SLASH, SLASH, YAOI, YAOI!!! It's also a LEMON!!! Okay, I think I've
made my point there. I was a bit disappointed at myself since the SLASH is
NOT hardcore enough for me. This IS my first try at SLASH. Okay,
constructive C & C are welcome. There should be ONE more SLASH chapter
later on in this fanfic. I'll try to make that one DOWNRIGHT HARDCORE.
Have fun reading!

Chapter 7
Part I
"... I was falling for you by the look in your eyes.
You turn my world just upside down.
Jungle in my heart,
Burning jungle fever,
I gotta run and runaway,
Jungle in my heart.
I'm gonna lose my control every night,
A million butterflies running around in my mind,
My heart is beating as wild as it goes,
...You turn my world just upside down.
Jungle in my heart,
burning jungle fever.
I gotta run and runaway,
Jungle in my heart..."
--"Jungle In My Heart" by Bad Boys Blue
Kurama sighed as he stared at his math problem. There was no way that he
was going to figure it out. Not to mention that he still had that final
project due if he was to graduate in time with the seniors. Why in the
world would he want to graduate high school early anyway? After all, he had
already made up his mind that instead of going to a university, he would
work with his stepfather in his firm.
*Because* he told himself. *You want to graduate with the rest of your
friends. Yusuke, Kuwabara, and Keiko.*
Under normal circumstances, Kurama shouldn't had any trouble with these
math problems but lately he had been especially disturbed--disturbed by his
constant thoughts of Hiei. Now when had he started to take an interest in
Hiei? Probably since the first time they've met. Back then, Kurama hadn't
realized it but then as the years progressed, he had come to know this fire
spirit. He remembered the first time Hiei had used Kokuryuha and how he had
fallen dead asleep after that. That innocent sleeping face was one that
Kurama would never forget.
His thoughts jumped forward to the time he had spent with Yomi. He had
found himself confused and lost those his friends had never known, since his
facade was too well practised. He had found himself thinking more and more
of Hiei. He tried to cover those thoughts by worrying about the safety of
his mother.
"Maybe that was why I was stupid enough to lose 'it' with Yomi..." Kurama
said aloud as he pushed his homework away in frustration. He knew very well
that he could've gotten out of his problems with Yomi without endangering
his human family or losing Shuichi Minamino's virginity with him. But then
his confusion about his feelings for Hiei had affected his thinking and
rationale. Never had this happened to him before, the youko had always been
calm about dilemmas. He had felt a flare of jealousy when he saw Mukuro
picking the unconcious Hiei up after the Makai Tournament, and another pang
of jealousy when Hiei asked him to help him to capture the Makai Slave
Merchant who had hurt Mukuro during childhood. Although Kurama knew that he
was being parenoid and too sensitive, he couldn't help it. He could not
even stand the fact of seeing Hiei helping or working for Mukuro.
"I'm going to drive myself crazy if I don't do something about this!"
Kurama said to himself as he stood up and stretched. "It's about time I
tell him something instead of brooding over this in my head. Heck! At
least it will lift that big rock off my chest, whether or not he accepts me."
*****************
Hiei watched Yukina from a distance. His sister was certainly the most
innocent creature he had ever known. For she always believed in the best of
everyone. He watched silently as Yukina busied herself with feeding the birds.
"Hiei-san?"
*Damn! She saw me!*
"Hiei-san, what are you doing here?"
"I...I was here for some assignments in Makai."
"Have you found my brother yet?" Yukina's hopeful eyes stared into Hiei's
amber ones.
"...No..."
"Oh..." Yukina's hopeful eyes turned into disappointment upon hearing the
news. Then she smiled and said, "Thank you very much Hiei-san. I am happy
that I've known someone who is willing to help me to look for my brother."
"Hn."
"I really like you, Hiei-san."
Hiei stared in utter surprise. She LIKED him? But she was his sister!
That wasn't right.
"Hiei-san, are you all right?" Yukina's beautiful eyes were now filled with
concern. Her right hand reached out to touch Hiei's shoulder.
Hiei fled.
"What's with him?" Kuwabara asked when Yukina told him of the incidence.
"I don't know. I only meant to tell him that I like him as a friend. He
makes a very good friend."
"That little jerk doesn't know how to appreciate people. Don't mind him
Yukina-san." Kuwabara said heatedly. Then his eyes lighted up as he
remembered the two movie tickets he had bought earlier in the morning.
"Yukina-san, would you like to see a movie with me?"
**********************
*Not a good day at all...A damn shitty day in all!* Hiei thought miserably
to himself. *Damn! Now I'm even starting to think in rhymes! How could this
have happened? I'm her brother dammit! I'm really fucked up now.*
Hiei slashed with his sword at a nearby tree in frustration. So what could
he do now? There was nowhere for him to go in Makai. He had decided to
take an extended vacation so that he could visit his sister in Ningenkai.
Now that his sister had decided that she "liked" him, he certainly would
like to avoid further trouble and confusion by staying away. To Hiei's
dismay, that meant that in a way, he had just lost his only family.
Hiei slashed at another tree and then stopped. If he had to avoid seeing
Yukina, he could at least go find that fox. Kurama would be there. He had
to be there. Kurama was the only person he had now. Hell, maybe Kurama
would have some solutions for his dilemma. Hiei decided that it was a
rather good idea and headed for Kurama's residence.
**********************
*Hiei!* That was Kurama's first thought when he sensed the youki. *Speaking
of the devil, he is here.*
"Hiei, you might as well come out." Kurama said casually.
"Hn!"
"What now? Another bad day?"
"Dammit Kurama! It's a fucking shitty day!!" Hiei yelled.
Kurama had not been in the best of moods when Hiei showed up. He was way
too frustrated about his school work and his feeling for Hiei when this
youkai decided to make an appearance. Having Hiei complaining to him was
not helping him any...
"Well at least you can explain instead of just standing there and sulking."
Kurama said with just the slightest tone of annoyance.
Hiei, being too frustrated and in too foul of a mood, had not even notice.
He proceeded to tell Kurama about his encounter with Yukina.
"Well you have no one to blame but yourself, Hiei."
"What?!!" That was NOT what Hiei had expected from Kurama. All HIS fault?
What was that suppose to mean?!
"If you have told her that you are her brother, this wouldn't have happened."
"Well kitsune, have you ever heard of something called 'keeping promise?'"
Hiei retorted.
"You didn't do it out of keeping a promise." Kurama replied. For once he
was going to be straight forward with Hiei. With so many things going on,
he just couldn't hold things in anymore.
"What the hell do you mean by that?!" Hiei couldn't believe what he was
hearing. Kurama would NEVER say something like that to him. Something was
disturbing Kurama. Hiei could see that Kurama was struggling against
something, he was holding something in. Still, that reply was way too much
for Hiei. How could Kurama, of all people, say this to him?
"You are afraid of rejections Hiei." Kurama said slowly. He would tell
Hiei in his face, there were too many things that he had to clear up with
Hiei. "You knew that you would not be able to accept rejection from your
only family if she rejected you for who you are. You are afraid of the
possible reality. Your promise to Shigure was only an excuse. You don't
care about the promise."
"And I suppose that you think you are better than me?" Hiei hissed. "You
lying to your human mother about where you go, about who you are. You are
too scare to let her know who you are. Who are you to judge me?! You are
no better, Youko Kurama!"
Hiei heard a sharp intake of breath from his friend. Kurama's expression
turned from impassive to that of surprise. He was definitely stunned by
Hiei's remark. Hiei knew that his remark had struck its target. For a
moment he felt a pang of guilt. This conversation with Kurama was
definitely NOT helping either of them.
Kurama continued to look at Hiei with that stunned expression. For a while
it was silence between the two. Hiei somehow felt a tinge of satisfaction
after the pang of guilt. Him, had actually caught Kurama completely by
surprise. However, when Kurama didn't say anything more, Hiei began to
worry. Maybe he had gotten Kurama angry. That was the last thing he
needed. He had no one besides Kurama now.
"You know, Hiei," Kurama said softly and slowly as he leaned toward Hiei.
"You and I are too alike." He would do it, now was the time. *It's now or
never* Kurama thought to himself *I...want him*. He suddenly kissed Hiei
firmly on the lips and pushed him onto the bed.

Chapter 7
Part 2 [WARNING!!! YAOI!!!!SLASH!!!LEMON!!!]
"I feel your lips
I taste your skin
I need to know
I need to feel you from within
As your blood burns through my skin
I feel complete
I breathe you in
It's where you end and I begin
If only I could stay here... forever
So much to tell you
So much to show you
So much to confide
Now that I'm inside you
We are flesh
We are one
So why do I feel so much guilt
For what I've done?
As your blood burns my skin
I feel release
I breathe you in
It's where you end and I begin
If I could only stay here... forever
So much to tell you
So much to give you
So much to confide
Now that I'm inside you."
-"Inside You" by Stabbing Westward
*What?!* Something was definitely wrong here. For the first time Hiei felt
the strangest tinge of fear. He struggled against Kurama, his two arms
trying to push Kurama off him.
"...Kurama!" Hiei started.
"No." That was Kurama's reply before he pressed his lips against Hiei's again.
Hiei grabbed a fistful of Kurama's hair and he tried unsuccessfully to pull
Kurama's head away from him. But Kurama only held him tighter.
*Kurama! What are you doing?!* Hiei had been more than shocked when Kurama
decided to do this to him. Kurama, of all the people he knew. What was he
trying to do? Hiei was frightened. He didn't know what was going on and he
wasn't sure if he wanted to know.
"Dammit! Stop it Kurama!" Hiei balled his fist and hit Kurama across the
face. Hiei could see a thin stream of blood trialing out of the corner of
Kurama's mouth. Kurama was surprised for an instant, but then he bent down
and crushed his lips to Hiei's again.
For an instant Hiei actually had the urge to either punch Kurama hard
across the face again or release the black dragon, but then decided against it.
*I don't want to hurt him...Not Kurama, not him.* Hiei thought.
Kurama kissed Hiei on his forehead, his tongue then traced down along his
jawline to his throat. He sucked Hiei's skin, savoring its every taste as
he left marks on Hiei's throat. Kurama could feel Hiei tensing beneath him,
he knew that Hiei was frightened, but he couldn't stop himself. For some
reason, he needed release, he needed it NOW!
*You are mine, Hiei. Whether you like it or not.*
Hiei closed his eyes, he could felt Kurama's tongue making its way
downward. He then felt his shirt being pulled off. His hands instinctively
grabbed at Kurama's.
"Kurama! Stop! I...!!!" Kurama's lips were on his again before he could
even finish the sentence. Kurama's right hand traveled beneath his shirt
and the fingers closed upon his nipples. They pinched and pulled, hard.
Hiei arched his back in reaction to the pain. He again attempted to push
Kurama off him but this time, Kurama simply pushed him down hard on the
mattress. His green eyes feverish and blazing with desire and need.
The hand now reached behind Hiei and down toward the small of his back.
They rested there and squeeze the flesh.
A shudder ran through Hiei. That was a strange sensation. The fear was
slowly residing as Hiei's body responded gradually to Kurama's advances.
For some strange reasons, Hiei felt that he was actually starting to LIKE
this, as least he knew that his body liked it. Heat and an unfamiliar
feeling of need rushed through his body.
As much as he would like to deny it, Hiei knew that he had always needed
someone to be there for him. No one had ever cared for him, befriended him,
or understand him for that matter. Kurama had been the only one. And here
was Kurama. It was all right, Hiei decided, as long as he still had Kurama.
It was too much for him to suffer loneliness again. He had no one but
Kurama now.
Kurama took his hands out of Hiei's shirt and pulled it over his head. He
saw that Hiei had stopped struggling. Hiei opened his eyes. His red amber
eyes meeting Kurama's emerald ones. Hiei could see the struggle in Kurama's
eyes. Kurama was as frightened as he was. Seeing that pain and fear were
shown on Kurama's beautiful face, Hiei closed his eyes. His right hand then
reached out slowly and ran through Kurama's soft red hair.
*He is the only one I have left now. He won't hurt me. I need someone.*
Hiei opened his eyes and his right hand traced its way down Kurama's face
and dropped back down onto the mattress.
Kurama's heart ached when he saw Hiei's eyes. Kurama didn't want to hurt
Hiei, but wasn't this precisely what he was doing? The expression shown in
Hiei's eyes had told Kurama that he decided to give himself completely over
to Kurama.
*But why?* Kurama asked himself. *Because he trusted you and he needed
you.* His other voice answered.
Kurama kissed Hiei lightly on his left ear, then traces along his jawline
down to his neck. He nuzzled and sucked at the hollow at the base of his
throat, savoring the taste, the taste of Hiei. Kurama then raised up again
and in a swift movement, took off the bandage that covered Hiei's Jagan.
Kurama traced along the edges of the Jagan, teasing and exploring. Hiei
slowly raised his head to meet the tongue. Kurama's mouth reclaimed Hiei's,
his tongue exploring the warmth slowly. Hiei tentatively returned the kiss
and wrapped his arms around Kurama's back. Kurama's mouth suddenly left
Hiei's and moved downward. His tongue made its way down Hiei's neck and
then darted to the left nipple. He mouthed it, his tongue darting in and
out to tease the hard nab. It started out as the lightest teasing and
licking and slowly worked up to a soft clench with the teeth. Hiei
shuddered and arched back instinctively toward the tongue. Kurama then
turned his attention onto the other nipple.
Hiei's hands were entangled in Kurama's flaming red hair. He could feel
his body reacting as if he was on fire. He could hear his heart beat rising
up by seconds as a groan started from his throat.
Kurama lifted himself up and smiled at Hiei. It was a brilliant smile, a
dazzling smile that could turn one upside down.
*He is beautiful and I want this.* Hiei found himself thinking.
Kurama unbottoned his own shirt and threw it aside. He then lowered
himself and kissed his way down Hiei's body. His tongue slowly explored
every taut muscle on Hiei's body. It made its way around Hiei's navel and
explored. Hiei gasped, his body tensed up, and then relaxed. Kurama's
right hand slowly reached toward Hiei's pants and started to unfasten the
belts. The left hand then joined the right to pull it off. Kurama then
rised up again and pull the boots off.
Hiei opened his eyes. Kurama's gaze met his and then he looked away.
Kurama lowered himself down again, this time his tongue ran along the length
of Hiei's shaft. Hiei groaned in response to the sudden pleasure. His mind
was now drawing a blank as the feeling of his body took over.
Kurama continued to teased his way up and down the shaft, he then mouthed
it completely. He sucked slowly but forcefully, drawing more groans from
Hiei. It was not long before Hiei came for the first time in his life. He
laid back on the mattress, exhausted.
Kurama raised himself up and reclaimed Hiei's mouth. His fingers traveled
below Hiei's shaft, found the tight opening under it, and slided his fingers
in. Hiei gasped, partly in pain, and partly in shock.
Kurama's fingers continued to go in and out of the opening. Hiei's fingers
dug into the mattress, helpless under the onslaught of pain and pleasure.
He returned the kiss, sliding his tongue into Kurama's mouth. Their tongue
were now exploring each other with a sort of careful urgency. Suddenly
Kurama's mouth was gone again. Hiei made a sound of protest but Kurama only
gave him a strange 'look.'
Hiei could feel his legs being parted and lifted. Then Kurama thrusted
into him.
"Shit!" Hiei cursed under his breath instead of crying out in pain. That
had hurt, a lot.
Kurama thrusted harder and faster. He moved in a fast rhythm, in tune with
Hiei's heartbeat. Hiei could hear his own shorten gasps with Kurama's. He
could feel the heat, the pain, and the pleasure building up, his fingers dug
even deeper into the mattress, breaking the fabric as they clawed at it.
No, he would NOT cry out, he would never cry out. He didn't want Kurama to
know how he feel.
Kurama could feel himself coming. Hiei was so tight, so hot. He knew that
this was Hiei's first time ever. And he, Kurama, was the one taking the
virginity away from him. Kurama remembered his first time as a human. It
was with Yomi, after one of those strategic meeting. It had not been
pleasant but it was acceptable. The pain was bearable. Every kind of pain
was more bearable than the pain he had experienced fron another life time,
from a youkai who had recently started to haunt his dreams again. Kurama
then pushed that thought away from his mind. He was now with Hiei, and he
wanted to make this experience something that both Hiei and him will
remember. And he wasn't about to let something from his past to ruin it.
Hiei bit his lips hard, hard enough to draw blood, against the pain and
pleasure that he wanted to release by screaming. Kurama's pumping was
harder and faster now. It was coming to an end. Hiei could feel it coming
even though he had had no experience in the matter. Finally, Kurama came
and then slowly separated from Hiei. Kurama then saw the red on the
mattress, Hiei had been bleeding from his onslaught. He had no idea how
much he had hurt him in the midst of his pleasure.
Hiei laid under Kurama, panting. He could feel a drop of tear making its
way down his right cheek. *Dammit! I am crying! I can't let him see this!*
Kurama saw the tear as soon as appeared. *Oh no...What have I done?*
"I'm sorry Hiei, I'm so sorry." Kurama kissed the wet mark the tear made
and kissed Hiei's eyes, nose, and mouth. "I'm very sorry."
"I am NOT crying." Hiei retorted.
Kurama laid down next to him and drew the blanket over them. "Hiei...Oh
gods, I...I..."
"Shut up baka, I know." Hiei said softly.
Kurama kissed Hiei lightly on the Jagan and gathered the fire spirit
close. That had been their first night, a night full of things said and unsaid.
