Wow now that I think about Ithe man's gota point.  Akane and Ranma usally
make up when they hit a low point{ like the cookies} god I still feel for him
on that one

Idea: Ranma looses the match with Kodachi, due to Akane's intervention.

The problem with this fic is that it DOESN'T pair Ranma with Kodachi, it
simply severs Akane's hold on him. (From her point of view).

If anything, this would push Ranma and Akane closer together, becasue:

    A> The "threat" to each other's freedom that they represent would be
    "gone".

    and B> They each will feel that they've let the other one down and
    be espically less abusive to each other.

There are better points in the series to pair Ranma with Kodachi.  With
the added benefit that later points have Kodachi really hateful of
onna-Ranma.

What if Ranma wanted the relationship to continue or was just pretending
to go with Kodachi (to protect Akane from Ukyou and Shamp), wouldn't he
be in the same possition WRT his/her curse as P-chan has with Akane?
