What if the title *was* appropriate? What if there was a world
where everyone - every man, woman and child - had *two* forms that
are triggered by water of different temperatures? And what if one
16-year old martial artist whose two forms happen to be male and
female falls onto a cursed pool in China that *locks hin in male
form*? The poor guy. No matter how cold the water is that he is
drenched with, he cannot change anymore - his female side is lost.
He is doomed to lead a pitiful half-existence, having to deal with
being male all the time. And as if that wasn't enough, *now* his
father (whose second form is a panda) tells him that he is engaged
to a girl; the daughter of an old friend of his father. A girl
who happens to *hate* boys...
Read Phaze Doubt by Piers Anthony...it has an idea VERY
similar to this. It really doesn't work, imho.
