This is my extreme rough draft. If you read it, please give me some
suggestions on how to develope the characters better. Thank you
Author's PreNotes: This is a Ranma fanfic based on the superb movie _A
Better Tomorrow_ It is directed by John Woo; it also starred Chow Yun
Fatt, Leslie Chung, Ti Lung, and Emily Chu. It is a great movie and if
you like this fic, it's because the movie was great. If you didn't like it,
it's because I probably messed it up. Well, enjoy.
Tatewaki: Sasuke!
Sasuke [running toward Tatewaki]: Coming Master Kuno!
Tatewaki: It's about time, this time you took three seconds. You are
getting better.
Kodachi [off stage]: Oh Brother Dear! Can you be my guinea pig for my
new sleep powder?
Tatewaki: Not this time sister, I have more important matters to attend
to, such as finding a suitable gift for my pigtailed goddess.
[Cut to Kodachi]
Kodachi [to herself]: Hmph, why does he have to talk about that
wretched girl? [goes back to her work in mixing various fun chemicals]

Tatewaki: Sasuke, here is 30,000 yen, go and get a suitable gift for my
fair pigtailed goddess.
Sasuke [bowing]: Yes, Master Kuno. [exits]
Tatewaki [looking Sasuke running off]: Pity, I hope I don't lower myself
to his pathetic level.
[Cut to Kodachi]
Kodachi [adding a drop of sodium sulfate]: Hmmm, this should do it, but
how would I know if this works? Brother will not participate in this, and
Sasuke seems to be away. [looks at her watch] Oh well, it's time for
school . . . Oh, I can find many people there to experiment with! [gives
her maniacal laugh and bounces off]
Sasuke [running back]: Master Kuno! *pant* I got a suitable gift for
your pigtailed goddess. [holds out a diamond bracelet] Do you think
she'll find it satisfactory, sir?
Tatewaki: Hmmmm, jewelry is so . . . What is the word am I looking for,
Sasuke?
Sasuke: Expensive? Cliched? Ummm, passe? Beautiful? Urr . . .
Tatewaki [takes the bracelet]: Never mind, I'll be late meeting my
pigtailed goddess at my institution. I shall not listen to your pitiful
babbling, for my goddess awaits! [runs with the gift]
[Cut to St. Hebereke High School for Girls's gym]
Kodachi [thinking]: Hmm, I have not yet found a good test subject.
[looks around at the gymnasts training, and spots one] Ah, Mia!
[The camera zooms to Mia, a young freshman with slight
resemblance to Kodachi, except with shorter hair, practicing her clubs on
the mat. She seems to be the best in the team, next to Kodachi of
course.]
Kodachi: All right! Practice is over!
Mia [coming toward Kodachi]: Oneechan, you really gave us a hard,
painful workout [smiles] I loved it.
Kodachi [laughing]: Oh you did? Well, I have a new powder I'm working
on, and you're going to be my first volunteer!
Mia: All right! I am always learning how to make my own sleeping
powders, posions, paralysis potions, and such, and without your help, I
wouldn't have gone as far with them as now.
Kodachi [still laughing]: I'm glad to hear that. Now, lets go over there
and I'll show my new paralysis powder.
Mia: Yes, one day, I hope to learn from you, oneechan.
[We see them walking off to Kodachi's locker and then Kodachi
takes out a small paper pack and whiffs the powder across Mia's face . . .
Cut back to the Kuno Manor, after a few hours.]
Sasuke [opening the door to the Manor]: Master Kuno, how was your
day at school?
Tatewaki: A waste of my magnificent time as always. It is a burden to
hear those pathetic lectures by those unworthy beings.
Sasuke: How did your pigtailed girl respond to your gracious gift?
Tatewaki: She was so joyous of my gift that she accidentally threw it
into my face and ran off.
Sasuke: Oh that must mean you are off well with her.
Tatewaki: Yes, it is a good omen. [waits] Sasuke?
Sasuke: Yes Master?
Tatewaki: The door . . .
[Sasuke quickly opens the door to his room.]
Tatewaki: Sasuke, I shall not be interrupted till dinner. You will
acknowledge that.
Sasuke [bowing]: Yes sire.
[Dinnertime, we see the three Kunos sitting from a big diningroom
table.]
Tatewaki [looking at the food]: Hmmm, did Kodachi cook again?
Sasuke: I'm afraid so, Master Kuno. [quickly turns to Kodachi] Not that
your food is bad Mistress!
Kodachi: You better mean that, Sasuke.
Principal: Hello everybody!
Tatewaki & Kodachi [eating and ignoring him]: Mmmph.
Principal: Since I am a old man, I made a will.
Kodachi: But Father, you are only 46 years old.
Pricipal: I know, but you never know when I can die, girl. [takes out a
piece of paper] Tatchi here will get everything I own in Japan, and Kochi
will get everything I own in Hawaii.
Kodachi: Why must I get your belongings in a foreign country?
Principal [ignoring her]: And Kochi, you will leave day after tomorrow
to see how wounderful it is over there! HA HA HA!
Kodachi: But father, I promised my aquaintence to show them how to
make a powder that will knock someone out.
Principal: That is all, let us feast.
[Next Day, Sasuke, Tatewaki, and Kodachi are in Kodachi's
room, helping her pack. Well, Sasuke and Kodachi are, but Tatewaki is
just sitting there, trying to look important.]
Kodachi [packing her bags]: Why do *I* have to go there? Why can't
YOU go, brother?
Sasuke: Now Mistress Kuno, I'm sure you'll love the sun and--
Kodachi : I hate the sun! If you want to help, shut up and finish packing
my belongings, Sasuke.
Sasuke [bowing]: Yes, Mistress
Kodachi: I swear brother, this is almost as worse as . . . Never mind.
Sasuke [stops packing her axe]: As what, Mistress?
Kodachi: Did I not tell you to shut up?
Sasuke: I . . . I'm sorry mistress. [goes back packing her maces and
knives]
Kodachi: Well, if you must know. When we were in junior high, we went
to a vacation in Thailand.
Tatewaki: Ah yes, Bankock, how wounderful that place was.
Kodachi: Well, we got in little match between some older boys who
knew some Muay Tai . . .
Tatewaki: Naturally, I won against my opponent with my superb Kendo
skills.
Koadachi: Actually, it was I who defeated them. Well, one of the boy's
father was a member of a triad in Thailand. As we were at a party our
idiotic father was hosting, we were kidnapped by the boy's father's men.
The gang leader said that he didn't like his son losing. One of his men put
a knife against my throat.
Sasuke: Then what happened?
Kodachi [glaring]: Sasuke . . .
Sasuke: I'm sorry Mistress, I shall not interrupt you again. [goes on to
pack her whips]
Tatewaki: Well, he put a whiskey in front of Kodachi and told her to
drink it or else he'll slit her throat.
Kodachi: I was about thirteen or fourteen back then and I never drank
before . . .
Tatewaki: So I, of course, came to her rescue and drank it for her.
Kodachi: But no, it wasn't over yet, this time he put rat poison in front
of
me and told me to drink it . . . [to Tatewaki] You didn't help me out that
time.
Sasuke: . . .
Kodachi: And I swore that day, that no one is going to put any type of
blade under my throat.
Tatewaki: Oh sister, I am sure that it was not that big of a deal. What is
to be embarressed about that petty little incident?
Kodachi [to Tatewaki]: You do not understand, you didn't know how
terrified I was! I wanted to kill them, all of them!
Sasuke: M . . . Mistress?
Kodachi [ignoring Sasuke]: What about you, Brother? Did you not feel
any fear as they did the same to you?
Tatewaki: Naturally not. Tatewaki does not fear anything.
Sasuke: Umm, Mistress,
Kodachi [turning to Sasuke]: What?!
Sasuke: I . . . I have finished packing your belongings.
*******
[Scene: Hawaii. We see Kodachi riding in a limo.]
Kodachi [wearing sunglasses and a trenchcoat]: I despise this place . . .
too much light and sun.
Chaffeur: Miss, aren't you hot in that thing?
Kodachi: I'm fine you twit! [looks out the window, and sees a sign] Stop!
Chaffeur: I can't, unless you need to use the can.
Kodachi [continues to look at the sign as they pass it][thinks]: With my
superb English skills, I could of sworn that there is a Rythmic Gymnastics
exibition. [smiles] I guess this place will not be a waste of my precious
time after all.
[Kodachi is brought to a mansion. After a boring tour, she asks
the chaffeur to take her to the rythmic gymnastics exibition. The chaffeur
refuses, saying that's against his orders. So Kodachi knocks him out with
some homemade knockout potion and sneaks off there own her own by a
way of taxi. Communication was not difficult since she had two years of
English back in Japan, and she was the head of her class as usual.]
Kodachi [entering with a bag]: I'll show these amatures who this is really
done.
Security: I'm sorry Miss, you can't go in.
Kodachi: Why not?
Security: This is for the athlets only. If you want an autograph you have
to wait till it is over.
Kodachi: But I am athelete!
Security [looks at her carefully]: I don't think so, I don't remember you
belonging to one of the Olympic teams, and what do you have in your
bag?
Kodachi [thinks]: Olympics? [grins] I shall so them how real gymnastics
is done. [talks] I am one of them, from Japanese team, and this,
[holds up her bag] my equipment.
Security: Uhhh, only the US team is preforming. Now, if you don't move
I'm afraid I have to kick you out.
Kodachi [takes out a black rose]: Very well. [gives the rose to the
guard]
Security [suspicious, but he takes it]: What's this for?
Kodachi [smiling]: This . . .
[As we would assume some puff of powder is shot into the
security guard's face. After that, he drops to the floor, knocked out.
Kodachi then goes past the uncouncious guard, toward the girls' locker
room, laughing all the way, and while everybody just witness what has
happenend.]
Kodachi [laughing]: Time to meet my opponents! [goes into the locker
rooms]
Rythmic Gymnast One: Who are you?
Kodachi [takes out a hammer out of her bag]: I'm here to give you
luck when I face you.
RythmicGymnastTwo: What are you talking about? We're not
competeting.
Kodachi: Oh we probably will, soon. [lunges foward with her hammer]
RythmicGymnastOne: AIEEEEEE!
[As on cue, a bunch of guards come and control Kodachi. They
cuff her and take her away.]
Kodachi [being hauled off]: Aren't these cuffs a little loose?
[Kodachi is brought to a local police station, where she is
questioned.]
ChiefOfPolice [points at Kodachi, who is now done being questioned]:
Who's her?
PoliceManOne [shrugs his shoulders]: I dunno.
PoliceManTwo [comes out of the room]: Man, she is psycho. I thought
she was a lost Japanese school girl, but shit man, she is messed up in the
head.
Chief: How so?
PMT: Well, she spoke English pretty well, but on some parts, we had to
get a translator. Luckliy, we had one avaiable. Anyway, she told us why
she was . . .
[It turns out that Kodachi is placed in a mental institute for more
psychicatric study and hopefully a cure.]
Doctor [to the chief]: So, she has a family?
Chief: Yea, she said she was related to that Kuni or Kuno or something.
Doctor: You mean Kuno? Man, no wonder she's in here. The whole
goddamn family should be in here.
Chief: Why? What did they do?
Doctor: One thing, they are one rich sonova bitches; I have no idea how
they earned that much money with their mentallity. The only sane one
was that woman . . . can't remember her name . . . but anyway, I heard
she left her husband because of some freakish reason. I don't blame her,
if she has to live with them. Now, the way I heard about these Kunos is
that . . .
[Cut to Nerima, Japan, Sasuke runs towards the Principal and
Tatewaki, who are having dinner.]
Sasuke: Master Master! We have unfortuate news!
Tatewaki: What is it? Can't you see that I am enjoying my meal?
Sasuke: I got word from Hawaii that she was arrested by the police!
Tatewaki: Who?
Sasuke: Mistress Kodachi!
Principal: Well boy, at least she's being taken care of!
HAHAHAHAHAH! Did they shave her head?
Tatewaki: That's nice, Sasuke. Now begone.
Sasuke: But . . . but Master Kuno, have you no remorse?
Tatewaki: I said begone from my sight!
[Next day at Furinken High, Ranma and Kuno are fighting for the
millionth time, in the chemistry lab this time.]
Tatewaki [swinging his bokken]: How dare you, Saotome touch my fair
goddess, Akane?
Ranma [dodging his attacks with ease]: She is not yours, Kuno. [thinks]
Man, this guy's really bugging me this time.
Tatewaki [still swinging his bokken]: Hold still damnit, so I can punish
you rightly.
Ranma: You got to be kidding, [sees a bottle of liquid] ah! [grabs the
bottle and throws its content into Kuno's face] Cool down will ya?
Kuno [drops to the floor]: My eyes! My eyes!
Ranma: You wimp, it's only water.
[Everybody soon walks in the lab, seeing the fighting has calmed
down.]
Hiroshi: What's wrong with Kuno?
Ranma: Ah, that wimp, I just splashed water on his face.
Nabiki [grabbing the bottle away from Ranma]: You mean this?
Ranma: Yeah,
Nabiki: This isn't water!
Ranma: Sure it is, it's labeled HCl, water.
Nabiki: You idiot! That's hydrocloric acid! Water is H2O!
Ranma: Uh oh . . .
[Five years have passes and the camera zooms over to Kodachi,
who is ready to leave the asylum. Kodachi has been transported from
Hawaii to the Stanford psychiatric department in California.]
Doctor: Ms. Kuno,
Kodachi: Yes?
Doctor: We see that you have improved greatly while staying here.
Kodachi: Thank you.
Doctor [puts in a video tape]: Now, before you leave, I'm going to show
you a tape what you were five years ago.
[As the tape rolls, it shows the old Kodachi that we all know and
love. Kodachi laughing like a maniac, knocking out doctors with her
toys, being sado-machnistic while being confined, ect.]
Doctor [turining it off]: How does that look to you?
Kodachi: . . . I can't believe that was me. I was so terrible. I . . .
Thank
you doctor, for curing me from that horrid person.
Doctor: You're welcome, now it's time for you to finally leave. We are
fully convinced that you are mentally sane now. One thing though, we
couldn't contact your family in Japan for some strange reason.
Kodachi: That is quite all right, I heard about my family too. They
seemed to be as horrid as I was. I would love to stay here, in California.
Maybe study with you, here in Stanford.
Doctor: No, sorry. Even though you are an adult, there is no place you
can go. I'm sure you have more relatives and friends in Japan, right?
Also, if you stay here, you would be considered illegal since you first
came as a tourist.
Kodachi: Well . . .
Doctor: Not to worry, we got you a plane ticket and a job in your old
home town, Nerima. The job isn't much, but it'll keep you on your feet
till you find your family again.
Kodachi: But what if I become like my old self again?
Doctor: Don't worry, just believe in yourself. I'm sure you'll be all
right.
Kodachi: Very well.
[Kodachi arrives in Japan a few days later, and goes to see for
that job. It is a small resturant, and she is now a waitress. She was also
given a small apartment to live in. Everything seems to be normal, and
she doesn't forget about her family but she tries to since she is happy.
True, she wasn't rich as she was, but she was normal and sane, or she
thought. A few weeks later, she goes to a local supermarket to get some
groceries and passes through the Kuno manor on her way back. She
usually passes through this part of the neighborhood at least once a
week, but this time she sees someone coming out of the Kuno Manor, a
servant.]
Kodachi [looks at the manor]: Sigh, that's where I used to live. I never
thought it looked that gloomy. [sees the servant] Hmmm, must be a new
guy. Well, the doctor did say they couldn't find my family, perhaps they
have moved? [looks closer] Hmmm, he does look familiar though, and
poor man, blind too. I don't know why they make him work with his
handicap.
[The blind servant guides himself to the Mercedez Benz that is
parked in the lot and cleans the windows. All of a sudden, three men
come out. One is short, but the other two are tall. One of the tall men
hits
the servant on the head and the servant bows and opens the door to the
Mercedez. Then the short man throws some money on the ground and
leaves as the blind servant tries to find the bills that was tossed onto
the
ground.]
Kodachi [watching the Benz drive away]: How cruel! I think I shall go
help him. [goes toward the servant] Hello, I cannot believe that they . . .
[looks at the servant]
Servant: Who are you?
Kodachi: B . . . Brother? Is . . . is that you?
Servant: What are you talking about?
Kodachi: Tatewaki?:
Servant: How do you know my name? Who are you?
Kodachi: Brother! It is you! It is I, your sister, Kodachi.
Tatewaki: Kodachi? Is that really you?
Kodachi: Yes, yes, brother! It's me, Kodachi Kuno.
Tatewaki: . . .
Kodachi: Brother . . . are . . . are you not glad that I am here?
Tatewaki: Kodachi, after all these years, and no hug?
[Kodachi lets out a happy but sad smile as they hug for the first
time in their life.]
Kodachi: Brother, what has happenend to you?
[For the next fifteen mintues, he tells her the whole story. Kuno
starts by telling her about how Ranma blinded him during a fight in the
chemistry lab. Kuno also tells about how his father retired and decided to
live in Guam and gave all his business to Sasuke since he was blind and
couldn't manage the business.]
Kodachi: So that short man was Sasuke?
Tatewaki: That is correct.
Kodachi: How did he turn so cruel after all these years?
Tatewaki: Never mind that, where are you staying, Kodachi? You have a
place to stay? When did you come back?
Kodachi: Oh I live in that apartment over by the east side. Remember that
place where as kids, we used to make fun of?
Tatewaki: You can stay here, if you like.
Kodachi: No, thank you. I rather start over, I had some bad memories
here.
Tatewaki: . . . What did they do to you Kodachi?
Kodachi [smiles]: Oh, come on, I'm cured. That's all it matters. A matter
of fact, why don't we have a party? I work at a resturaunt, and I'm sure
the manager is nice enough to give me a day off to get you some free
food. It could be our reunion party.
Tatewaki: I don't think my MANAGER will be that nice to me . . .
Kodachi: Well, that does not matter. You can always ask.
Tatewaki [sighs]: All right, since I haven't seen . . . I mean heard from
you in a long time, but don't be dissapointed if I don't make it.
Kodachi: Oh don't worry, he will remember me and let you go.
[Cut to the resturuant on the day of the "party." Enter Tatewaki.]
Kodachi [goes to Tatewaki and leads him to his table]: Brother! Come, I
am so glad that you could come. I told you that he was going to permit
you to come.
Tatewaki: Yes, I was surprised too. I wish I could see what you look
like, Kodachi. I wonder if you look as terrible as me.
Kodachi [sighs]: Here, sit here, I'm almost finished with my shift.
[Ten minutes later.]
Kodachi: There, I'm done. Now that did not take long did it?
[All of a sudden, Sasuke and his men arrive and sit at their table.]
Sasuke [takes off his sunglasses]: Kodachi, long time no see.
Kodachi: Sasuke! It's nice to see you again.
Sasuke: Kodachi we missed you very much, and when this idio . . . I
mean when Tatewaki here told be that you came back from the U.S., I
had to come and see you.
Kodachi: Thank you.
Sasuke: Now, why don't you come back to the manor? We specialize in
exotic plants and chemicals. And with your skills, I'm sure we can make
a fortune.
Kodachi: Are you not blessed enough? You don't need me to further
increase your wealth.
Sasuke: Well, I made that proposition to get you away from this low-
class job.
Kodachi: That's gracious of you, but I love it here. I also want to get
away from my past, on how horrible it was. You remember how I
mistreated you with all those experiments.
Sasuke [smiles]: Very well, but if you reconsider, here is my card. [hands
her his business card]
Kodachi [looks at the card]: All right . . .
Sasuke [gets up]: Nice talking with you, Kodachi. [puts on his sunglasses
and leaves]
[A few minutes later, a young woman comes in and sits next to
Tatewaki.]
Woman: Hello, Kuno! [comes to Tatewaki and gives him a small hug)
Sorry I was late. [looks at Kodachi][jealous] Um, Kuno, do you know
that there is a woman sitting with you?
Tatewaki: Of course, Kodachi, this is Mia. Mia Kodachi.
Kodachi: Mia?
Mia: Kodachi?
[They look at each other in slient for a few minutes.]
Tatewaki: Hello? Is everything wrong?
Kodachi: Mia! How I missed you so much.
Mia: Yes . . . I didn't know you came back.
Tatewaki: You so two know each other?
Mia: Yes, we USED to be old friends. Um Kuno baby, I'm going to talk
about old times with Kodachi here, will you stay here for a moment?
Tatewaki: Sure.
[Mia takes Kodachi's hand and drags her out side.]
Kodachi [surprised by her roughness]: Mia . . . how have you been?
Mia: Shut up.
Kodachi: Excuse me?
Mia: Where have you been?
Kodachi: In Stanford--
Mia: Oh, so you ran away from me huh?
Kodachi [ashamed]: No . . . I . . . was in a mental institute.
Mia: Hmph, I knew you were insane. Where are you staying now?
Kodachi: At a small apartment on the East side, I work here.
Mia: Oh so you do, do they know that they hired a pshychopath?
Kodachi: Mia, what's wrong?
Mia: Shut up! [slaps her] It's all your fault!
Kodachi [holding her cheek]: What . . . what have I done to you?
Mia: Remember in high school, you gave me your little experiments?
Kodachi: Ye . . . Yes.
Mia: Because of that . . . I have brain cancer, and it's all your fault! I
don't have much to live, and I swore that I would not go alone. I was
going to kill you first.
Kodachi: But Mia
Mia: And don't call me Mia! I don't want to hear my name be called by
the likes of you!
Kodachi: . . . I'm sorry.
Mia [takes out a knife and holds it under Kodachi's chin]: I just wish that
my death will be painless as yours.
Kodachi: Mia! What . . . What are you doing?!
Tatewaki [walks in]: Hello? Are you two out here? The foods came.
Mia [withdraws the knife]: Of course, we were talking about old times.
Kuno baby, you can go in and start, we'll be right there. You can make it
back to the table can you?
Tatewaki: Yes. [leaves]
Mia [to Kodachi]: I'll let you live this time, only because you're his
brother. You better watch your step.
[A few days passed and Kodachi is still haunted by Mia's actions.
One day, two men comes into the resturaunt.]
Kodachi: Hello? Can I help you?
Man1: Ms. Kodachi, Mr. Sarugakure wants to see you.
Kodachi: I'm afraid I'm too busy right now.
Man2: But we are to follow his orders.
Manager [witnessing the whole event]: Kodachi, you better go with
them.
Kodachi: But . . .
Manager: It's okay.
Kodachi [to the two men]: All right,
[They drive Kodachi to the Kuno manor.]
Kodachi [coming into the room where Sasuke and Tatewaki are]: Yes?
Sasuke: Look around, Kodachi. Remember this place?
Kodachi [looks around]: It looks familiar . . .
Sasuke: It's your room! I still kept it intact.
Kodachi: How nice . . .
Sasuke: Now anyway, have you considered working for me? I mean, you
and Tatewaki can work together.
Kodachi: That's okay . . . I rather not. Now, if you excuse me--
Sasuke: Wait, before you go, can I talk to you alone?
Kodachi [sighs]: If you wish.
[Sasuke leads Kodachi into another room.]
Sasuke: Kodachi, what's happened to you? I give you an offer that will
make you filty rich and you don't accept it?
Kodachi: Look, I have given up on that life.
Sasuke: You'd had better not [pauses] you know why I keep that blind
idiot around?
Kodachi: I don't . . .
Sasuke: Of course you don't know! I never told you, but he reminded me
of you!
Kodachi: How is that--
Sasuke: You don't know it, with all the experiments you tested me with,
with all the dirty deeds you made me do, the most gruesome work that
you forced me to do, I did em with one reason. I loved you Kodachi! I
never liked that idiot giving me orders, but I had respect for him!
Kodachi: I don't know what to say.
Sasuke [turning away from her]: Oh, you don't care. No matter how
much you say you've changed, you haven't! You are still the sadist that
you used to be. [turns back around] But let me tell you something, I
know that you respect your brother more, and for his sake, come and join
me.
Kodachi: Sorry, like I said, I never want to go back to that life again. I
love my new life, sorry. [turns to leave]
Sasuke: You are making a big mistake, Kodachi.
Kodachi: Please leave me alone.
Sasuke: You don't know what you are doing!
Kodachi: Good bye, Sasuke.
Sasuke [after she leaves he shdders in anger]: Damnit! [punches a wall]
[A few hours later . . .]
Tatewaki [gets hit in the back with a baseball bat]: Ack! [doubles over
and gets kicked in the nose]
[Sasuke is just standing there calmly watching his men beat up on
Tatewaki, but still has the anger in his eyes.]
Sasuke: Okay, that's enough, boys.
[Tatewaki weakly crawls towards Sasuke, trying to get up.]
Sasuke [wipes the blood off of Tatewaki's face][mockingly]: Now Master
Kuno, if your sister had agreed, this wouldn't have happened. [all of a
suddnen, he punches Tatewaki on the nose and his head is thrown back
from the force] Now, she and you will pay the price.
[Sasuke punches Tatewaki in the gut and he spews out blood.
Sasuke calmly grabs Tatewaki's hair and knees his face a couple of times
smashes his face into a wall.]
Sasuke [sees Tatewaki trying to get up]: Oh ho! I'm not through with
you yet! [kicks him in the back and grabs Tatewaki's hair again] You
must know how you felt when your love have broken your heart.
[smiles] Oh yes, you never been loved. Forgive me, *master* Kuno for
my mistake! [smashes Kuno's face on the wall, and while keeping the
pressure of the wall onto his face, Sasuke grinds Tatewaki's face in a side
to side motion] How does that feel? I'm sure it feels the same way when
you found out that Ranma was the pigtailed goddess huh? Oh wait!
[throws Tatewaki head first to the ground, blood spraying out of
Tatewaki's face as the back of his head hits the concrete floor] You
didn't know that! [looks at Kuno, bloody and lying on the floor] Pitiful,
take care of him, boys [turns and goes inside] And remember to give
Kodachi her present.
[Back at the Kodachi's place of employment . . .]
Manager [drinking a cup of coffee]: So, what did you tell him?
Kodachi [also drinking a cup of coffee]: I told him that I liked it here,
and
didn't want to go back into the past.
Manager: . . . Hmm, very unwise. But if you think if you did the right
thing . . . [hears the door pounding] What the?
[A car crashes through the door, destorying everything, naturally.
It is a few of Sasuke's men.]
GuyOne: Hey Miss, got a presnt for ya! [throws a bloody Tatewaki down
on a table] Special deliery from Mr. Sarugakure!
GuyTwo: And here's your other present, [starts destorying everything]
Kodachi [to her manager]: You gotta get out of here!
Mananger: No, I can handle this, you got to take your brother and
escape!
Kodachi: Are you sure?
Manager: Yes, now hurry!
[Kodachi runs towards Tatewaki and when she finally gets to his
bloody body, one of Sasuke's men come in front of her.]
Guy: What are you think you're doing [smiles] I can't let you take him
away till we're finished. [grabs Kodachi]
Kodachi: Let go of me!
[Suddenly, her manager hit's the man's head with a bottle.]
Manager: Quickly!
Kodachi: R . . . right. [lifts Tatewaki on her shoulders and runs out the
back door]
Men: Hey, she's getting away! [starts to chase her but comes face to face
with the manager]
Manager [holds two broken bottles]: You guys are not going anywhere .
... .
[Cut to Kodachi, carrying Kuno, running as fast as she could with
him on her shoulders.]
Kodachi [thinking]: Wow, he's heavy, I don't think I can carry him much
longer. I hope I can remember where the clinic is . . . [sees it over the
horizon] Ah! [bangs on the doors] Help! Help! Dr. Tofu!
Tofu [opens door]: Yes? [looks at Tatewaki] Oh dear . . . Quickly, bring
him inside! Lay him down on that futon, I don't have my aids with me, so
you have to help me, Miss . . .
Kodachi: Kuno, Kodachi Kuno.
Tofu: . . . . Please set him down and get some hot water . . .
[Forty Five minutes later . . .]
Tofu: There, he looks better. This is their worse job yet . . .
Kodachi: What? You mean they have done this before to him?
Tofu: Oh yes, Kuno usually fights back, but he doesn't stand a chance
with Sasuke's men. Because of that, he gets beaten more. But this is the
worst I've seen him manhandled.
Kodachi [whispering]: Sasuke has done this before?
Tofu: Now the way it looks it may--
Tatewaki: Mo . . . ther [puts out his hands]
Kodachi [quickly goes and holds his hands]: Brother!
Tofu: . . . I'll leave you two alone, now Mr. Kuno, if you want to get
better, you have to rest. [leaves]
Kodachi: Are you all right?
Tatewaki: Y . . . yes.
Kodachi: I'm sorry, brother, it's all my fault!
Tatewaki: Where . . . am I?
Kodachi: At Dr. Tofu's. Please don't try to talk.
Tatewaki [looks dissapointed]: I . . . was afraid . . . of that. [coughs]
If
I was in hell . . . I could . . . have seen mo . . . ther and . . . father.
Kodachi: Don't say that! I'm sure . . . Mother and Father are in a better
place than hell.
Tatewaki [coughs]: I . . . want . . . kill him.
Kodachi: What?
Tatewaki: I . . . am . . .[coughs] going to kill . . . Sasuke.
Kodachi: No! You cannot! No matter what he has done to you, at least
he has let you live!
Tatewaki: I see . . . you are on his . . . side.
Kodachi: No, it's I don't want you to stoop to his level!
Tatewaki [tries to get up]: I . . .
Kodachi: Please Brother, lay down. Remeber what the Doctor said.
Tatewaki [slaps her arm away]: Will . . . kill . . . him. Right now!
Kodachi: Please, I beg you brother, for mother's sake, father's and Mia's.
Tatewaki: Mia . . . Very well. [lays back down]
Kodachi: Please try to get some sleep.
Tatewaki: . . .
Kodachi: Goodnight. [leaves]
Tofu [sees Kodachi leaving the room]: So, when did you come back?
Kodachi: THAT'S not important, is my brother going to be fine?
Tofu [sighs]: Yes, he has a very strong, tough body due to his Kendo
practice and his earlier fights with Ranma.
Kodachi: Tell me doctor, is Ranma married to that . . . that . . .
Tofu: Why don't you pay him a visit?
Kodachi: No, that will just remind me of the past. I rather not.
Tofu: If you wish.
Kodachi [writes something on a pices of paper]: Here are my phone
numbers, call me if there is any trouble. The one on the bottom is the
phone number to the resturaunt.
Tofu [taking the paper]: All right . . .
[The next night, Kodachi receives a phone call.]
Kodachi [picks up the phone]: Hello?
Tofu [on the phone]: Uhh, I got a problem. Your brother has
dissappeared, along with my katana I had on the wall. Do you think you'll
know where he is going?
Kodachi [pauses]: Yes, I think I know where he's going. But he won't be
going far since he is blind.
Tofu: Oh, you don't know your brother well don't you?
Kodachi: . . .
[Cut to Tatewaki who is in a cab. The cab stops.]
Tatewaki: Cab driver, is this the Kuno manor?
Cab Driver: Yes, it will be 5000 yen.
Tatewaki [hands him the money]: Keep the change. [Gets off]
Mia [wating for him]: Kuno!
Tatewaki: Ah! Mia, so you did come.
Mia: Of course, I couldn't let my love down.
Tatewaki: As I told you before we have to get the film.
Mia: What's in them?
Tatetwaki: I heard a couple of Sasuke's men talk about it. It's suppose to
contain all his illegal methods of the ways he aquired his great wealth.
Mia: But weren't your family already rich?
Tatewaki: Yes, but once our father died, Sasuke had a little trouble
keeping our fortuans. Our father put us in a lot of debt. It's just like
him to run away from his problems.
Mia: Do you know what they contain? I mean, it's not like he'll record
everything he did bad.
Tatewaki: Sasuke counterfited money, and in those films are slides that
is needed to print the money. Without it, he'll be worthless oncemore.
Also, he'll go to jail when I turn this into the police. I also heard he
recored all the people's names that he killed to come to power.
Mia: But won't you go to jail as well?
Tatewaki: I'm already hurt enough to feel anymore pain. [grips the
katana tighter] It's his turn now.
[Tatewaki and Mia goes inside the manor. Kuno, although blind,
guides Mia through the hallways and into the basement. They go into a
long walk in closet and there are thousands of films in them.]
Mia: Tatewaki, how do know which one to get?
Tatewaki: We should get the counterfit slides film. It should be labled.
[After Mia searches around the closet, she comes upon a tape
behind a glass case.]
Mia: Kuno, I think I found it.
Tatewaki: Hurry, get it and lets go.
[As soon as Mia breaks open the glass, the alarm sounds.]
Tatewaki: What did you do?!
Mia: I had to get it out of the glass casing somehow!
Tatewaki: Quick, lets get out of here!
[As soon as Tatewaki runs out, he bumps into one of Sasuke's
men.]
Man: Where do you think you're going, Tatewaki?
Tatewaki: I had it with Sasuke mistreating me, I'm going to land him in
jail with that tape.
Man [cracks knuckles]: I don't think so.
[Tatewaki nervously takes out his sword and sticks it in front of
him.]
Man: Ha ha, you think you can hurt me, blind man?
[Tatewaki thrusts his sword into the man's stomach. Obviously,
the skill he once had is still there.]
Tatewaki [feels the blood splatter on him]: Wha?
Mia [grabbing Tatewaki on the arm]: Come on, lets get out of here.
[Tatewaki just stands motionless, with his mouth gaping.]
Mia: Kuno! Hurry up!
Tatewaki: I . . . I cannot believe that I just did that.
Mia: Do what?
Tatewaki: Did I just kill that guy?
Mia [stops]: Kuno! You are the one that said you're going to kill if
anything got in our way. Now snap out of it!
Tatewaki: I can't . . . I never done this before!
Mia: It's not a big deal. Sasuke will kill you if he finds out, and he'll
feel
no remorse!
Tatewaki: I guess you're right . . .
Mia: Come on, lets go before more of his men comes.
Tatewaki [drops the sword]: Mia, no! I can't do this.
Mia: What?!
[All of a sudden, more of Sasuke's men come running into the
room.]
Man1: Well well, Kuno. [looks at the dead body] What?! [turns back to
Kuno] Did you just kill him?!
Tatewaki: Yes.
Man1: Man, we're going to tear you apart!
Mia: Kuno . . . help!
Tatewaki: I . . . can't, I never killed anyone --
Man3 [to Mia]: Hand over that film, bitch.
Mia: No! [kicks him in the head]
Man3: Fuck, [wipes the blood from his lip] you asked for it!
[Meanwhile, the two other men are beating Tatewaki. Soon, the
third man is getting the upper hand and hurting Mia really badly.]
Mia: Kuno you idiot . . . [drops the film]
Man1 [picks up the sword]: You made a bad mistake Kuno, now we are
going to chop off all of your fingers and shove this sword in your throat.
[One of the men grabs Kuno's arm and the other raises the sword
to chop off the finger, something hits him and knocks him out.]
Man2: What the hel-- [get hit by the same thing]
Man3 [getting the film]: Ha, huh? [knocked out]
Mia: Who?
[From the celing, drops Kodachi, in her leotard. She has
obviously thrown her clubs at the men.]
Kodachi: Brother, I came to help you.
Tatewaki: Kodachi? You came to help me?
Kodachi: Yes, we . . . we have to get back what's ours. Besides, I
couldn't see you get hurt anymore.
Tatewaki: Kodachi . . . [grabs the katana] heh . . . haha . . . Hahahahah!
Thou art right, Kodachi. We shall bring hither our possesions!
Kodachi: Well, I'm glad that you are okay. Mia, are you okay? [offers
hand to help her up]
Mia [slaps her hand away]: I don't need you're help! [grabs the film] Lets
go, Kuno.
Sasuke [entering]: You guys are not going anywhere.
Kodachi: Sasuke!
Sasuke: Mia, give me that film.
Mia: Yeah right, this will be enough proof that we'll see you in jail!
Sasuke: Hmm, I guess I have to make you an offer. [throws a bag at her]
There are two million yen in that bag. You can keep them if you give me
the film and help me dispose of them. [points at Kodachi and Tatewaki]
Mia: Ha, thanks for the money. I'm still not giving you this! [starts to
back away with the Kunos]
Sasuke: Wait.
Mia: What?
Sasuke: It's not money, there's a bomb in there. It's set to go off when
you open it.
Mia: What?
Tatewaki: Mia, throw it away!
Sasuke: Actually, why don't you check? I think I put money in there,
maybe I put a bomb in there, I don't know.
Mia [looks at the bag]: Uhh
Kodachi: No Mia!
Mia: Shut up! [closes her eyes and starts to open the bag, slowly]
Sasuke [smiles]: Heh
Mia [changes her mind]: No, I can't risk it.
Sasuke: That's fine, even if it was money, you wouldn't get out here
alive anyway. Boys! [snaps fingers]
[The men behind Sasuke comes foward, cracking their knckles
and neck.]
Sasuke [looks at the bloodied Tatewaki]: You know what? Never mind.
Hey, Shoicho! Get me my sword! [takes off jacket]
[Shoicho brings and bow down in front of Sasuke, holding the
sword above his head.]
Sasuke [takes the sword]: I want to see how good this blind, pathetic
scum really is. Tatewaki, I challenge you to a duel to death. If you win,
you can get out of here alive. [turns toward his men] You hear that? If he
kills me, don't do anything! [turns back around] Now if I kill you, I get
the film and we get to dispose all three of your bodies anyway we want.
[looks at Mia and Kodachi] Hmm, I think we may have some use for you
two girls. [draws the sword out of the sheath] Get ready, Kuno!
Tatewaki [grips his sword tighter]: All right. Even if I'm blind, I had
more practice than you!
Sasuke: You really think so? [grins]
[Sasuke runs over and tries a overhead strike, Kuno barely parrys
that move. Sasuke does some lateral slices, driving Kuno back into a
bookcase where he falls.]
Sasuke [pointing the point of the blade to Kuno's neck]: Not bad for a
blind person. But it is too early to finish you off right now, get up!
Tatewaki [getting up]: Bad mistake [thrust the sword at Sasuke]
Sasuke [barely dodges the blade]: Gahh! [bleeds a little] Heh, lucky shot.
[Sasuke again goes all offensive, and drives Kuno back around
the room. Sasuke manages to get some good cuts in but they are not
significant to really hurt Kuno.]
Sasuke [stops]: So you were the captain of the Kendo team with this
pathetic skills? No wonder Ranma consistantly beat you.
Tatewaki: Ranma! [starts the offensive and Sasuke is barely defending]
Sasuke: What the hell?!
[Kuno throws five fast overhead strikes in a row, then thrusts his
sword. Sasuke barely dodges and blocks the moves, but he is driven back
into a wall. Kuno continues to slice against Sasuke, but Sasuke retaliates
and kicks Kuno back. Sasuke and Kuno charge at each other and comes
to a Mexican standoff.]
Sasuke: My, you're much stronger than I though.
Tatewaki: Why? Because of all the table scraps you've been feeding me?
[pushes Sasuke away]
[The people watch nervously as the two slice it out. There are
few drops of blood flying about but it is only from small cuts they are
receiveing. It seems that neither one is getting the upperhand, and after a
few minutes, they stop exausted.]
Sasuke [looks at Kuno]: *pant*
Tatewaki [turns his face toward Sasuke]: *pant* Diee! [backhand strike]
[Sasuke blocks the move and flips over Kuno. Kuno senses this
and thrust his sword backward but misses. Sasuke then aims for Kuno's
neck but Tatewaki blocks it perfectly. They continue on fighting.]
Sasuke: You are still good . . .
[After a few minutes catching their breath, they go at it again. It
still
seems to be a draw. They fight again they they are near exhaustion, they
retreat and look at each other, out of breath. Slowly, Sasuke stands up
and comes toward Kuno.]
Sasuke [giving his sword toward Kuno and bows]: Master Kuno,
Tatewaki [takes his sword, and gives Sasuke his sword the same way]:
Master Sarugakure.
[As Sasuke takes his sword, they start fighting again. Finally,
after a few minutes, Kuno knocks Sasuke down and points the sword at
him.]
Tatewaki: Well, Sasuke, it's the end.
[All of a sudden, Tatewaki is riddled with bullets from Sasuke's
men, and Kuno falls slowly.]
Mia & Kodachi: No!
Sasuke [looks at Tatewaki in horror]: You . . . you . . . [looks down] I
can't believe . . . [looks up and his lips slowly transforms into one of
saddness to a smile] HAHAHAHAH! I guess I win! Boys, take
care of the dead body, and quick thinking, Akira, Kenichi. And for the
girls . . . ah kill them off too.
Kodachi [crying with Tatewaki in her arms]: Brother . . .
Mia [stands there in shock, looking at Kodachi and thinks]: Tatewaki . . .
Ko . . . Kodachi, I'm sorry. [turns head to swip the tear]
[Mia then goes up and takes Tatewaki's katana he was holding.
Then she gives the sword to Kodachi. Kodachi looks into Mia's eyes,
and Mia gives her nod. Kodachi gets up and throws the sword toward
Sasuke]
Sasuke [as he is leaving the room, looks back]: Huh? [the sword is
plunged into his back] Aggg!! [falls dead]
[All of a sudden, Sasuke's men takes out their guns.]
Kodachi [takes out her ribbons and gives one to Mia]: You remember
everything I taught you?
Mia [grabs the ribbon]: Of course, oneechan.
