'Wow, there sure are a lot of these Revengefics coming down the line. I just hope that it won't stop the flow of Fanfics.' I loaded up my editor, hoping to get a few revisions done on Lone Man and Wolf, but nothing was flowing, and I have to get to work in an hour. "Geez, this is gonna be tough. Maybe I should revamp Magic. The C&C gave me a great filler section idea." "No, I don't think you should do that." The voice said calmly. Wondering when my roomate got home and his voice changed, I turned to see who was there. Cologne, perched on her staff, was propped up in the middle of my waterbed. "Augh! Where... who.... how.... Oh no. Not now!" "Yes, now. You have some small things to answer for, Scott. That little fic you wrote that had Ranma kill me, and then there was that fic that actually had me make a mistake. I am not sure which one ticked me off more." Cologne hopped onto the edge of my bed, twirling her staff. The ends of the staff whirred in front of my face, missing me by mere millimeters. "Oh come on. It's not like I actually thought this stuff would affect anyone. I'll stop, I promise!" The fear of the Jusenkyo curse worried me more than the physical pain. Pain goes away, the curse would last. "Now then. You seem to have a liking for the magical side of the multiverse, so the decision was reached. No Jusenkyo curse for you." Cologne's face seemed to split into an evil looking grin, and suddenly the Jusenkyo curse was looking rather nice. "What are you going to do to me? I am out of shape, Fighting would take me forever to learn, I have a girlfriend, and there are a couple of people in my life that would like to kill me, so I can't see anything you could do other than a curse." I offered up a silent prayer, hoping that I might get off lucky. "Nice try, but no good. Judgment has been passed. I am going to grant your desire. You will be able to use Magic." Cologne whirled her staff again, forcing me to lean back to avoid it. Cologne leaped up then, dropping a small bundle in my mouth. She then landed on my desk, holding my jaw shut and forcing me to swallow it. "There, it is done. You can now use magic. There is a catch, however." 'Big suprise.' I thought. "The Magic will only work when you are stressed, or totally relaxed. You have no control over it. Of course, the raw, undirected magic will be interesting to watch. It always flows wierd with no control." "What do you mean, watch? And exactly what do you mean by wierd?" I looked around, hoping that my alarm would go off and I would wake up from this crazy dream. Cologne simply looked at me, propped up on her staff again. That's when my computer started floating. Two eet in the air, held down by the cableing, my computer hovered there. I gently pulled it down, set a couple of Cerebus graphic novels on it to hold it in place, and turned around again. "See? You got stressed, and the magic hit your comuter this time. What will happen next time? This is going to be sooooo much fun." Cologne had a light in her eyes, glimmering evilly in the flickering light of the T.V. "You mean you're going to stick around?" That worried me again, and suddenly, my stereo started blaring gregarian chants. A pounding on the ceiling started, my upstairs neighbors, who happened to be Mormons, disliking the chanting. The stereo cut off, and Cologne jsut started to laugh.
