Okay, here's a lil' part of the first REAL chapter in this 'fic. Will it
be LEMONy or not? Only your hairdresser knows for sure.... Lemme know what
you think.

(From The Prologue.....)

Ranma caught a whiff of himself and nearly threw up what little food he
had ingested before breakfast. He smelt like something Akane had cooked up
for him the night before. He had forced himself to eat it (no small feat)
and smile like a big dufus while doing it. Her food was still God-awful,
but it made her happy to see him eat, so he sucked up his pride a little
and ate whatever she made. Thank goodness the bathroom was so near the
dining area. There would have been nowhere to spill his guts afterwards.

Smelling so rank, he decided to take a quick shower before heading down to
breakfast. He reached the bathroom door and slowly turned the
handle.........

Chapter 1 : Whoops, So Sorry To Disturb You.....
--------------

"Great, it's locked from the inside. Who was dumb enough to do that?"
Ranma gave the handle a few more gentle twists, but it failed to open. "Now
what am I gonna do?" With a sly eye, he looked down the hall in both
directions, checking to see if anyone was there. Satisfied that there
wasn't, Ranma began to quietly yet forcefully remove the hinges from the
door. He wanted to take a bath, NOW, and he wasn't waiting around for
someone to unlock the door. He would put the hinges back on before anyone
knew what had happened.

The temperature of the water in the tub was beginning to drop, causing
Akane to sigh deeply and sit up. <Well, time to get back to the real world.
Guess I'll go down to breakfast now.> She reached down between her legs and
pulled out the stopper, As the water slowly drained out, she stood up and
looked for her towel. Spying it on the wall rack at the other side of the
bathroom, she shook her feet dry as best she could and stepped out of the
tub. Between the draining water and her own daydreaming about Ranma, she
failed to hear the faint scraping sounds emanating from the door.

Ranma had successfully removed two of the three hinges without breaking
them, and was nearly done with the third. He had managed to pull the screws
holding the hinges in place right out from the wood with minimal damage to
the delicate grooves. When he had finished taking down the door, he would
simply open it, unlock the other side, and bolt the door back on. No one
would have to know. He felt proud that with his martial arts training he
had undertaken a fairly large piece of carpentry, and not a one person had
noticed.

Finally, the last screw was pulled out of the hole. <Alright! Now for that
bath....>

Akane strode across the small room, leaving small puddles where her still
wet body dripped. With her back to the door, she reached up for the towel.

<Uh.... Uh.... UH! Damnit, who put it higher than I can reach? Probably
that stupid panda. Doesn't he know I'm not 7 feet tall?> She resorted to
jumping, on each hop managing to nudge the towel a little bit, trying to
bring it down.

Ranma placed his large hands around the edges of the door and slowly
picked it up. <Yea, it worked!> He turned and gently leaned the door
against the wall of the hallway. That being done, he turned and started
into the bathroom.

The towel fluttered down to the ground. Feeling a little victorious, Akane
bent over to pick it up......

C&C, ideas, comments, matchbooks from various bars for my collection, Bingo
cards, whatever.... are appreciated. Flames will be reported to the Miami
Beach Fire Dept., although they probaly won't be able to douse it (sheesh,
they let my fav. Cantonese restaurant burn down, and it's like half a mile
from the station!!!)

Thanks,
